So when was the check requested and received, if these 2 have requested a check from MERGE in FEB and have already got it, they are beating the 8 week period and then why havent others recieved their checks from FEB. I guess these 2 were in the same batch or ,.....

I'm a Carbon affiliate, based in the USA. My check cashouts have taken anywhere from 4-8 weeks for the last couple of years.

6 people who 1. post on twoplustwo 2. post in the Merge cashier thread and 3. posted their most recent check received payouts in March from requests in February.

people who do 1, 2, and 3 =/= every player on Merge. its not much of a stretch to say many more than 6 payouts went out so far in March. zapp maybe have a cup of tea and try to relax.

as the OP I'm glad to hear that some people are getting paid. all i'm gonna say is that although many people have chimed in here to say that 8 weeks+ is not unusual for merge payout, i've got a bunch of checks and it has never taken more than 6 weeks, i've never had to pester customer service, and i've never been told about a "peak" in withdrawals. thus i think my concern and frustration is justified, even if this doesn't have the makings of a Lock debacle. I guess i've just always been lucky to get my checks in 3-5 weeks. Talked to a guy last night who says he's been waiting over 9 weeks for a check. at this point i just want the money, if it now takes longer to get the checks that would suck but at least (according to most of the posters in this thread) i should expect to get paid eventually

I think that the slow payments is consistent with the disregard the network has for its players. But to say that they are stiffing players just isn't supported by the facts.

Carbon has always been slow. I played there for several years post BF. The quickest check i got was 3 weeks and the longest wait was 9.5 weeks. The longer wait times would always be around this time. They would state it was the Superbowl/end of NFL season for the delay.

When they do such a consistently bad jobs in all aspects of the business there is no way they would want to have a rep here having to address all the problems. I think they learned that awhile ago and thats why their rep disappeared and even their support is almost non existent.

US Carbon Affiliates get payed the same way...via Player Account.

I'm in the same situation but I think I will get the money eventually.
I requested a check for 2k 2/17 and its still pending.
Same bs story from the customer service about football season etc.
As long as I get the money b4 I head out for vegas I'm good.

i give it 2 more weeks before people really need to start worrying. If you check the carbon cashout thread some ROW players have skrill withdrawals approaching 10 days usually for ROW players they pay out in 5 days. I can understand if its only happening to US players but if ROW players are being effected time to worry a little.

The only reason to consistently take longer than 6 weeks to pay customers is if you are running a ponzi scheme

I am a US player. I made a request from Carbon in Jan. I received a check and deposited it a few weeks after receiving it. It has been about 2.5 weeks since I deposited it I have had no problem with it requiring special processing by my bank. Further details are in the Merge payment thread where they belong.

Oh yeah, but I received my check in 6 weeks instead of 3-5, so I guess the ****ing world is coming to an end right now.
