Antigua has decided to take up the issue of online gambling again with the WTO. The statement was released 5 days ago and only 2 websites(through google news) that deal mainly in gambling have covered this issue. There are no articles on cardplayer, bluff(lol i know), etc. This should not only be reported because it is definitely news that could affect US poker players in terms of more competition, lower rakes, and pretty much everything else players want, but also could very much benefit your websites. The free market affiliate system is a 1000x better than the US regulated will be, if there is one at all(
PM Prospace).
Obviously the WTO will rule in Antigua's favor and we need people to know about it. If its big news in the poker world, it will be small news compared to everything else, but it will still be news nonetheless. Not much is likely to come of this, but any small win would be beneficial to anyone involved in poker. If it gets enough coverage and outrage, other countries that depend on Igaming revenue like Costa Rica, Malta, and Sechelles could make the same case. With quotes like these, we can make anyone who reads the article realize how much damage the US has done to their country, whether they agree with online gambling or not:
