Pokerstars - yes on both counts, AFAIK.
Full Tilt - a lot of substantial transfers have been made over the last few days that were backed up from the 16th, although some remain unresolved. No regarding US players.

There is less of a chance that I would engage in any transactions like that than there is of me getting my stupid $550 back , but I am curious as to what you think the probabilities are because I haven't read any ridiculous comments from you.
This thread would be way more useful if the comments were kept to company releases, comments from people associated with the company, leaked memos, news reports, and an occasional update on a $250 withdrawal etc...
It is mostly negative speculation based on nothing at all that has legitimate alternatives.

Re: Can we discuss Cereus specifically?
Pulling a number out of my butt based on incomplete information -what I do for a living-, I would probably put getting paid at this point at about 30%, but I am a non-US player. I think US player chances are a bit lower.

I consider the fact that Full Tilt was backed up on foreign players also to be a positive sign. UB/AP is approximately 2 weeks behind FTP in negotiations with the DOJ. The fact that FTP was having any trouble at all indicates that there ARE either processing issues or frozen money issues that prevented a site with perfectly good intentions from getting the job done in a timely manner etc...
It MAY be over for the UB/AP money, but I still don't hear the fat lady singing.

I'm making it 60%, but I won't go "all in".

I understand. I bet on penny stocks at Motley Fool/CAPS but it doesn't mean I'm going to put them in my IRA.

LOL. Exactly.
I also gamble on basketball, stocks/options, and horse racing.
My bet size is directly related to my perceived edge, the confidence I have that I am evaluating the probabilities correctly, and the probability of winning.
I make it 60%, but I'm not so sure I am right.

Re: Can we discuss Cereus specifically?
FWIW here are some basic facts about Madeira Fjord AS - from the Norwegian business registry (BRREG).
current board of directors
Robert Ronald Janusz (chairman)
Kim Patricia Pusey (board member)
Chuljae Lee (deputy board member)
Yann Kiril Fralin (deputy board member)
The latest notification is from April 15th 2011 (may be a coincident) where BRREG threatens to force a liquidation on the company due to the fact that BRREG has not yet received financial statements for the fiscal year 2009. The company will be liquidated if they have not received the statements before 13th May 2011.
The company was founded in August 2007 with chairman of the board: Robert Ronald Janusz, 2n035 Indian Knoll IL 60185-1779 West Chicago, USA
the public accountant had the following remarks re. 2008 statements (loosly translated)
- Serious weakness in the companies internal routines, documentation and internal control, which may result in an incorrect statement for the fiscal year 2008
- Weakness in valuation of assets
- Share capital lost, or partly lost.
Not much info from the 2008 statement, but here are some key facts
* 135k usd in bank accounts
* -273k usd in net operating profit
* 3M USD in outstanding claims

Re: Can we discuss Cereus specifically?
UB/AP FACTS!
1- Superusers, multiple ones... people still played
2- casino section was proved to be rigged.... people still played
3- Horrible support, horrible cashouts for yrs.. people still played
4- pots started getting shipped to the losing hands!..... people still played
5- Didnt they not payout a badbeat jackpot one time?
6- They str8up lied to the players regarding cheating things and lie about who works there,,,, people still played
7-... black friday bs about them not paying out... is anyone surprised? its your fault you played on a shady site, this is expected from them, they literally have no incentive to pay their customers now right? since they are toast, they gain nothing by paying, if they can get away with it theylll prolly run,
Oh and just a thought, if they really do hit the road and bail and rob everyone, do you think they will try anything funny with all the CC #s they got? I mean if they can get away with $$ they can do shady **** with peoples CCs right? Not saying they would but who the hell knows lolll

LMAO. Yes, this how the mind works when it's panicked and not thinking clearly. I don't agree with you therefore I have some sinister motivation.
No need to check the IP. I'm in NY using Timer Warner Roadrunner cable and haven't played any poker (maybe twice in the last few years) since the issues with Neteller back in the Party Poker bonus days.
I emptied all my poker accounts at that time except for some pocket money on UB because I liked UB's software the best and wanted a few dollars available if I ever wanted to kill a few hours playing (which more or less never happened).
The last thing I am is a shill. I'm an investor and semi professional gambler that has $550 stuck on UB. I'd like to get it back the same as everyone else that has a lot more there. I think most people here are in full out panic mode based mostly on speculation because we have very limited facts.
If it makes you feel better to assume to the worst, that's cool.
As long as no one is encouraging others to deposit money there (which is impossible anyway), I see little problem with my more optimistic stance on the facts.
