Cake does allow hand analysis software. I import my Cake hands into HEM after every session. Cake simply doesn't allow HUDs.

Please don't make false statements when you don't know what you are talking about.

i remember before i stopped playing there they intentionally altered the saved hand histories so that the pot totals would be incorrect and the profit/loss tracked would be inaccurate. do they still do that?

THAT speaks volumes.

Stars would take Lee back in a nanosecond.
He mods a Sunday Million FT, all is right with the world again.

This IS a major glitch in cake, but not like:

>Awarding a pot in a razz game to someone who hadn't even ANTED
>The PH incident described previously
>An eyewitness account from a sng participant, saying that 2 each A's appeared on the flop

proving that Ultimate Buttplug is STILL the hands-down world leader in FAIL.

He just said yesterday that it's like a year away in the Cake thread.

Proof of it or shut up cuz no one cares about the one time that you didn't get shipped the pot and did nothing about it because you were on like 40 tables.

All,

This is really disturbing, I play the majority of my hands on cake so this isn't a fun thing to hear. That being said I don't know much about computers/software so can someone explain why its OMG THE SKYS FAILLING if this happens once in a Billion or so hands. Not being arrogant just really don't see the HUGE deal if this is a once in a lifetime glitch, but i'm sure someone will explain to me why its a big deal. Till then im slightly confused.

Because this part of the forum is filled with panicking retards and rigtards on stand by ready to yell "end of the world" any time a squirrel runs past. No one knows anything yet and I'd say there is a 99% chance its nothing serious, just some stupid error somewhere.

It's serious enough that Lee Jones and the Cake team are taking it serious. Seeing how an online poker site's whole business is based on it's software and it's reliability, I think when a failure like this happens it should be taken damn serious. So your "99% chance of it being nothing serious" theory is not in line with Lee Jones' response, or reality. "Just a stupid error somewhere'? LOL Am sure glad Lee Jones doesn't have your "oh well" casual attitude. You are aware that some people have a lot of money on these sites aren't you? This isn't your XBox Live account.

I am not gonna go into silly anologies, but "seriousness" of a problem should be determined through a proper investigation.

Taking the situation "seriously" is a healthy business attitude even if there is only a 1% chance of the actual problem being "serious". It should be praised.

Because that's not how software works. The computer doesn't just "make a mistake" once in a while the way people do.

For something like this to happen, there is a fundamental bug in the Cake Poker code. You have no idea that it's only happened once in a billion hands or so; it may have happened a number of times, and was simply not caught.

It's probably something timing related, some type of race condition or such, but I certainly wouldn't feel good about playing on Cake if something like this can happen even once (that we know of).
