This response was executed nicely. If only there was some sort of standard Internet vernacular or meme I could post to show my approval, I would incorporate it in my response as a show of respect and perhaps even mild deference.
But alas, there is not. Perhaps one day one will arise.
Sigh. I don't know if he has picked the team in his head, not being telepathic. I don't even know if he has privately informed some or all of the players, not being their closest friends. I do know that when the team becomes public knowledge, it will be picked up and published on pokernews etc., and will immediately appear in such a google search. Thus, if you'd like to know if the team has been selected, googling the question is
a more efficient way of finding out, and if you do find out then you could post it in this thread yourself and make a contribution to these forums instead of sucking the very life out of them like leeches. That applies to both of you. Now back to my ignore list you go.
Lots of people on the forums play with and know Ivey. Any of them could have known who he picked, or if he had not picked anyone yet, and then said so.
instead, we got random people popping off and posting links to nowhere..
"Proud to be World Series of Poker (WSOP) APAC Caesars Cup captain. Here are my picks: Phil Hellmuth, Greg Merson, Daniel Negreanu and Antonio Esfandiari."
All good picks except for DN, who doesn't seem to be playing that well, but it appears as if Ivey went for well known personalities as much as those generally thought to be the best tourney grinders at the moment (selbst, mercier, Brad Booth).

One of these doesn't seem like the other. Has Booth experienced a recent renaissance in poker that I've missed (I'll admit I haven't followed as closely as I used to).
