Zeebo,

Really enjoyed the film, nice job to all involved.

My sons mother is Bipolar and just watched it also and was impressed by your story (plus she now wants to play online poker lol)

Looking forward to the next 'episode'...my vote is for Galfond or Durrrr obv

The intent of a documentary should not be to propagandize or to help legalize online poker or there is no way it could be this good.
This x100. Different personalities in future episodes I'm sure will provide an upbeat contrast without it being forced. Very well done! Looking forward to future episodes.

That was awesome, this is the highest definition video i ever see online and the best thing is there is no lag time for me. I wonder who is covering the cost of the production if there is no advertisement?

My dream episode would be loloTRICKEDu, the kid make over 1.6 million in 6 month, then suddenly disappear from the online scene. I would pay to see a document about him.

When I was starting out I was playing tons. I pulled more than a few 24 hour sessions. I was probably playing about 5-6 hours a day or more (and double on the weekends) while still being a full time student. I was playing more tables than almost anyone at the time. I would play about 16-20 tables at my peak (in 2005-2006) of hu, 6m, full ring. There weren't many games running, so I'd play anything at the stakes I could. Optimal number of tables totally depends on stakes and type of game and current skill level. The more tables you play, the less you can grow as a poker player. If you're still really trying to move up stakes, I wouldn't play more than 4 tables of 6 max, or 2 tables of hu, and probably 6 or so full ring. Once you're happy with your hourly, you can pile on more tables and do more auto-piloting. I find auto-piloting to not work as well anymore in today's games though, as many people can beat an auto-piloting strategy. The places I made the most money were hu and 6max though.

We are going to hit the drawing board after the WSOP. There are all sorts of angles/personalities/themes we can explore, and I hope the next one is a drastically different story. I hope we can do as many of these as possible and keep connecting the dots between people and places we've seen and met and events we've been a part of since the poker boom.

We'd love to hear what you'd like to see explored next!

I liked it and props to zeebo for saying how it is and putting it out there. The only criticism for the filming crew I had though...was it just me or were there too many transitional scenes? Like when the camera is shooting the street or whatever and the interview is still going on in the background. I know a lot of producers like doing that especially in documentaries..maybe because it gives the film a little more "real" feel to it but I think they overdid it in this one.

Great documentary--I really enjoyed it.

Has your fiance watched this yet? Congrats on her btw, she seems very nice/cute/genuine. If she has, does that mean she knows how much money you've made now?

Also, I remember from back in the day when I was constantly F5'ing your blog that she had very conservative parents who were opposed to this poker thing (iirc). Have they come around?

So all that raw footage isn;'t going to be used for further parts and you are starting again or am I interpreting your post completely wrong?

My fiancee watched this, but she saw the rough cut which didn't have the total money figure in it (that was added in the last cut). I have told within the past month or two for various reasons, including that we not have a house together now and she was mildly concerned about mortgage payments as I'm phasing poker out and don't really have a job for the future.

Her parents did come around with the poker thing, as I assume all reasonable people would. Her parents really like me and don't view poker as a problem anymore.

This was filmed over a period of something like from 8 months ago to 18 months ago. Ryan can fill in with more details. There are no other current episodes specifically planned, although we do have plans to do more episodes. It's not like we held back a bunch of footage for 'Zeebo part 2', or whatever.

drastically different? i suggest a "live only" pro. i know there are a lot of layers to bobby hoff and contrasting zeebo to ray zee would be quite strange as well.

as for online dudes id like to see one of the euros who live in like lllubjoania or whatever...ive always wondered whats going on over there.

Really great production quality.

+1 to whoever said it was the best quality stream they've ever seen on the internet. My internet speed is pretty slow but didn't have any streaming issues, and full screened it and it looked like a dvd.

B roll footage of Madison was well done, and the content was ofc very interesting.

Great job

this was great. I used to go to zeebo's site/blog a few years ago when he was killing the high stakes games. surprised there wasn't at least a short mention of the famous zeebo theorem though.
