I'm 100x happier with my life than I was pre-poker, and I owe pretty much all of it to poker.
It comes across as the main goal of the docu is to portray a real life online poker star 'warts and all' and that's great. Maybe there was too much emphasis on the bad times though and not enough on what you did with all the millions and fun you had etc. after all the title of the series is 'busto to robusto' i was expecting an upbeat tale about how good online poker can be for your life. Look forward to seeing some docu's of online players rolling in millions - now that would be good for the image of the game.

Real good production and you and your g/f seem cool people fwiw.

I have no idea, but luckily I have a good cushion so I have time to figure it out. I'm contemplating going back to school for education to teach high school math, or going into some sort of programming/problem solving thing for a company. I've also thought about real estate too.

I don't know much about psychology or about Greg but it seems to me that online poker is a very dangerous lifestyle for someone who is at all mentally unstable.
Yeah bipolar and gambling generally don't mix very well, that's like psychology 101. Most of the professionals that talked to me were shocked that I made money gambling, and had to confirm it with others that I wasn't just making it all up.

I still lol and immediately apply Zeebo's Theorem whenever I flop a set...fill up on turn... push 150BB on river and get called by a smaller boat...can I buy you a wedding gift?

Very well done and entertaining.

I kind of agree with the poster that doesn't want non-poker players to see this.

How is there no mention of Zeebo Theorem?

In my opinion there was nothing wrong with this episode. You just brought it as it is. I loved it and salute Captain Zeebo for his courage to tell his story. Why do all documentairies on online poker only need to be on succes and almost never show the downside of what some pokerplayers go true? This episode showed the human behind a very succesfull pokerplayer. Nothing wrong with that. Would love to see more stories like this.

i'd think that would be hard to do whenever you flop a set, since you'll flop bottom set sometimes and there'll be no worse boats to call when you fill up on the turn

also thanks zeebo for answering.

why do people make posts as retarded as yourself? so many people think they know everyones financial business. just like people assume i have zero money because they pull up some database that just began in september of 2008 when i've been playing midstakes since 2005.

zeebo crushed back in the day. i remember he was owning 50/100 NL on UB 3 or 4 years ago. he probably straight up crushed the party games also.

I lie about this because I have low self-esteem and feel the need to impress the forums!
