What's up with the people hating on Zeebo? Did he do something to piss people off on the forums?

I think he came of a nice guy and there was definitely no reason to hate on him based on the doc.

First time in NVG?

Some would hate on fire fighters dragging babies out of burning buildings here. It is just part of the white noise.

Oh yeah, I remember that. That's was a pretty great location to shoot at - play pool, eat chocolate chip cookies, and watch people gamble when there's nothing to do. Thanks to MSNL House for being so accommodating.

You have to be careful not to make it seem like an infomercial for online poker, I think you did that and there was definitely a sense of openness and honesty. Having said that, I agree with whoever said there are lots of great things you could include about what young poker players get to do with all this money. That's definitely a big part of this subculture and would be only right to incorporate. What does the middle class guy next door do when he suddenly has a 7 figure roll? Would be good TV.

If you can earn an income that provides for your family, you don't need to feel guilty about being selfish or not contributing anything to society. There are tens of thousands of people in this country who play around with other people's money and produce literally nothing at the end of the day, and are hailed as captains of industry.

I think MOST posters here realize that as a documentary filmmaker your primary goal is not to promote online poker but to make a good documentary - but some VERY LIGHT editing could take care of the feeling of unwholesomeness or depressing elements that may come across to the general public, while maintaining candidness.

Again great job.

I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing, whoever made it.

Your fiance seems really nice.

If I had one complaint about it, I would have liked to see more about poker and/or his early strategies and his style - what games he likes best, etc, but it's a small complaint.

zeebo you are the man. this documentary was so ****ing awesome. very high quality and a real cool story. well done!

i know this will eventually make it to television or the big screen. i don't think this episode of the series should be taken out. i think it's good that the public knows all aspects of the poker lifestyle. i agree the episode took sort of a depressing tone with the bipolar/wanting to quit in two years/view on how it benefits society, but it's no reason to leave it out. what i suggest is putting this one somewhere in the middle of the documentary. start and end with more upbeat episodes.

this is very high quality production imo. if the rest of the series is as good and entertaining as this, i expect you guys to have a lot of success with it. i also expect that if this is done right, it will be very good for the poker world.

Zeebo,

How many hours a day were you playing back when you were just starting out, grinding low/midstakes? How many tables were you playing? What do you think is the optimal number of tables? FR or 6m?

Thanks
