I was just thinking how that is basically Eric Seidel's worst poker moment that gets replayed in Rounders 1... so in the second movie it would be great if the only villian was Mr Seidel and he took every dime from Mike, Worm, Knish and Ted KGB, and anyone else who would play him for that matter.

It would be awesome like when Rocky lost . At the least they could introduce some new poker characters... maybe have an "online kid" or a non-stereotypical female player or somethin. But I predict the movie will just have a lot of cameos from known pros like hellmuth and Negreanu and just be shtty a lot like "lucky you".

It's not an easy task to make a good poker movie so I thought 2+2 could help with some possible ideas whether it be new charaters or plotlines or ideas in general to possibly make the best poker movie of all time.

imdb has it predicted to come out in 2012 so it might be too late to generate some ideas but a sequel's gonna happen so I thought we should at least try to make it awesome.

i think it would be great if he went to vegas, tried his hand at the world series, lost first hand, then went back to that blonde sweet sort who didn't like his gambling, they lived happily ever after, and he grinded out a lot of rakeback on the 25/50c tables like the majority of the self-proclaimed 'professionals' who would definitely beat doyle HU.

I thought this was news as in the writers of Rouders 2 visit 2p2 for ideas, not someone asking the writers to look at his crappy ideas. Title needs a comma

The best way to approach Rounders 2 is to give it some sort of Enders Game twist. This 16 yr old kid realizes he has an affinity for online poker. Eventually he gets so good at play money, the CIA spots his talent, and posing as PokerStars, signs him to a players contract. He swiftly wins every WCOOP event. It turns out, that rather than playing on PokerStars, he is actually controlling drones to hunt insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan.
If that doesn't work, just throw in a zombie apocalypse. That would make even a boring game like poker somewhat interesting.

just make it entertaining to watch, forget about bet sizing and all that other crap that nobody cares about.

Whoever would be foolish enough to make this movie better have enough decency not to have Rounders anywhere in the title.

Mike should have sex with what's her name from the Chesterfield.

Or wait... he should not have sex with her, and she should jill off after he leaves, with lots of closeups.
