I listened to tapout radio today with Bruce Buffer as the guest. He went deep in the WSOP and was talking about all of the highstakes pros he is friends with. In the interview, he acted like he knew them pretty well.

Long story short, he states that Phil Ivey is worth over 100 million and Dwan is worth over 50 milllion.

Worth? He must be over estimating the worth of FTP. Either that, or the reports that they have a small percentage are way off, and each has about 5% ish.

I think its possible Ivey is worth 100 million. All of his sponsorships and what not, and net worth includes ur buildings and cars. And most poker players aren't even close to this obv, we're just talking about Phil Ivey.

Guy sounds like a complete douche

Figures could easily be correct ish, however if Tom does have $50m to his name then it's likely that Ivey has significantly more than $100m.

Ivey could very easily have 100m, he crushes any game he plays and add in a pretty hefty sponsorship to that. Dwan I very much doubt but who knows what kind of sick live games he's playing, and the sick degens he can find to give him money. I mean if they can both afford to throw away 1 mil on random props they've got to be decently well off.

on pokertable ratings, it shows that ivey is up $5 million online? You dont think that Ivey has played 20 times that time live that he has on the internet?

well ivey and dur on PTR aint earned that much, ivey with adversting and barcelts may be wroth over 100mil, dur is prob around 10m max.

we have no clue how much these guys have made in bobby's room, Full Tilt endorsements, private high stakes cash games, private prop bets, investments etc...

Dwan's net worth might be a bit inflated, but Ivey's seems about right. I would say that Buffer knows more than we do though in any case.

If Dwan is worth 50 million, then why is he playing 1 million or more pots.... i would assume he would be worth more.

I wudnt say it far off about dwan either.Dwan is up,what? 7 million on cash games on full tilt.He started his career in tourneys years ago on others sites,who knows how much he won there.Who knows ,he could have an account on sites like pokerstars,betfair part poker and he could be crushing this games.

Apart from that anytime we watch him play live on tv cash games.He's up a fortune and rarely loses a session.I dont know numbers but on high stakes/poker after dark he has to be up a small fortune.off from the tv he is prob crushing games in bobbys room and other rooms like that.He could be worth anything.
