Making a mockery of something isn't sarcasm?

You seem to be very invested in this so I'm going to let you have it either way. Hope you can find some sort of resolution to your outstanding resentments.

Naive decisions? He set out to cheat and did so. As I mentioned earlier, I have no problems with the Isildur stuff but the paying back and Noel Hayes stuff is far far far from naive.

Naive reactions? He's an adult and he shouldn't be such a d-bag. For such a great poker player he sure does lack a great deal of logic in life.

Shamed like a rapist? GTFO. He deserves some heat for being an ******* and a cheater. He doesn't deserve to die or be raped or whatever the **** you think is happening here.

It's funny to me how some people would see it this way. Hoagie boy is the kinda guy who'd deceive someone in a heart beat to serve his own interests.

Also, Hastings is a boss. Still hilarious that a guy who also played from the states was trying to burn him at the stake because he is a HS fish.
TYTY.

If you didn’t notice, G-TEA-O is a pun on GTO, something we are in dire need of these days.

Could you imagine this?

Worker: Hey Brian I didnt get paid for working last Tuesday. Would you mind looking at my timesheet?

Brian: Yahhhh...well...why dont you pick a charity and I'll donate it to that. LOL that's cool right? I'm just trying to grow the business and you're not a good enough person for the money I just conned out of you lol. Catch me on ACR if you want your money.

Didn't expect that reference to be taken quite so literally. My point was the piling on is excessive considering the transgression. In large part because he's been getting harassed about the isildur match for years (which was nothing) and painted black by part of NVG bc of it. At what point should he be allowed to move on? There is no consensus about how to handle this correctly as far as $ is concerned.

He's already taken a ****load of heat for the Noel incident (compounded bc of people groveling about isildur). I agree the way he used Noel's image was a bad unethical decision. This has been admitted & he's done more than most to try and make amends. Imo he doesn't owe a direct $ for $ reimbursement to opponents. It's something to get pissed about but doesn't disqualify prior betting actions. Playing against a misrepresented SN is an inherent risk of online poker that everyone playing those stakes understood before they sat down.

We could debate the semantics of playing online from the US post Black Friday at different stakes. Regardless, there's a big difference between his behavior within the game and someone like harrington25 (or even the Dang brothers, looking back what they did would be considered incredibly fked up today... no one cared so much bc of how the sites selectively enforced their T & C regarding multiple accounts... that set poor precedent & created a gray area that should have never existed). Based on the intensity and verbiage of the responses here it seems like BH is being grouped in a similar category as someone like Bleznik.

If you don't like his attitude that's fine. I don't agree with all of Brian's perspectives. However, considering my view of the "high stakes community" (not really positive or negative) I think a lot of his sentiments are logical based on the life he's lived (cutthroat Mano a mano competition on a daily basis, HS poker is intense if you want to stay there). I think he's a genuinely good person at his core. This is based on his CR vids, 2+2 posts (for a long time he was a very valuable poster... one of the most accessible and helpful top players that posted here) and playing at the tables. I've always found him to be respectful and more than willing to help other people. I like that.

Hope that clarifies things a bit.

As far as the dude who said I have a warped view of the world, I just don't know how to respond. Not sure what you're getting at.. Maybe??

Brian "Stinger88" Hastings is a multiaccounting cheater on top of being a bizarrely disturbed individual

He cheated me and others on the NoelHayes account and his petulance is such that anyone who calls him out is suddenly ineligible for restitution

Oh the little baby is done and needs to 'retire'?

Don't let the screen door hit ya where the good door split ya, you weirdo piece of ****

Bumhunting grinders ITT complain about being bumhunted. How many guys used to create new accounts on FTP praying that somebody thought it was Guys for a few hands of cheap action? Haters gonna hate.

Serious question. Does anybody actually believe that Stinger did anything worse than the Dang brothers?

Good luck with the company but if you retired how are you calling out people to play you on ACR?

Hastings is such a loser. I remember he used to appear when Viktor Blom had been playing for 20 hours straight to milk him. Sure it's +EV but still scummy.

The hate he gets for acquiring hand histories and taking Isildur1 down in 2009 is just pure jealousy from isildurs fanboys, who understandably wanted to see him continue to crush all comers.
Buying hand histories was v.common for most players and to think this wouldn't happen in the biggest games ever on the internet is ridiculous.
The biggest mistake he made was mentioning it.
I agree the NoelHayes situation was scummy, but the vitriol the guy receives is primarily due to him destroying Isildur when he was at his peak on FTP.
GL in the future Brian.
