A day when games were almost dead, David Benefield(FTP) and VietRussian(stars) was battling at the same stakes at the same time. Both were minraising all buttons(fairly uncommon, maybe 10% of regs did this at the time) and c-betting 8/9th pot in hu-pots btn vs bb after bb had flatted pre(extremely uncommon, not sure I have seen any other reg have this sizing as their standard). I remember seing the post accusing Benefield in the high stakes-thread, and after that, I have never seen the VietRussian-account play again.

I have no hard evidence and I am not accusing anyone of anything, but to say that it is not within the realm of possibilities that the two accounts was played on by DB seems a bit naive to me.

always thought benefield/raptor was using the longerpig acct bc during his nov 9 run the longerpig acct on stars and the benefield/raptor acct on tilt would be sitting alone on the same type table games waiting for action.

durrr could have also used the longerpig acct also bc i noticed the longerpig chat almost sounded the same as when durrr would chat when he was signed to tilt again especially when those nl triple draw games ran on tilt for a while.

the account belonged to Don Ngyuen right? He was friends w raptor/galfond etc but I think its way more likely he just took things from their style then multi'd. I played w him in a tourney that summer and he certainly fit the bill as someone who would show up at nosebleeds, play a bit, and vanish.
