Yes huge difference between being a character reference and directly vouching for someone in a transaction. Especially in the gambling world where a vouch takes on an entirely new meaning.

Agreed this isn't the right place for this.

In a situation like this if he were to reverse the transaction he is committing a crime. This is not the same as most cases ITT. I hope for his sake as well as yours he doesn't do that. You know him in real life so if he were to do something like this he is even more messed up then he appears . Hope it works out

Damn, I was looking for a small 2k xfer in the trading thread about a week ago for a bank wire and Brandon PMed me saying he could do it for me. Luckily for me someone right before him hit me up about it. I would have never thought twice about doing an xfer with him...

Always thought he was extremely arrogant. I remember he had a crazy long blog post about being a super drug addict and then about a year ago he wrote a crazy long blog about how he had found the love of his life and how his life had changed in soooooo many ways.

You misunderstand franxic. I believed I was going to be paid back. I believed he was having a slew of bad things happen all at once. I had done $30k worth of trades with him and his backers in the past, this was the first sign of a problem. I gave him the benefit of the doubt bc of our history.

At the time, I still felt 75% that he was intending to payback, and only having really bad issues at the time. I believed we were waiting for his backer to sort things with him. I even spoke to his backer directly, and he gave no indication that a scam was happening.

And that anyone would think that I refund other people is just silly. We have one person to blame, so you shouldn't be looking to attack other people in the same boat as you. My mistakes are mine, and yours are yours. Own it. Same to you ChangeItUP. Ridiculous that you think the way I handled this situation makes me a POS. You just took a discussion about the person who stole from you and made it personal with me...I'm going to refrain from doing the same. For now.

wow, this blows. i thought something was up when i made a trade with him a while back and then a few days later he showed up on skype and said sorry for the delay and that he had sent, and the monies were there. Still seemed a bit strange to disappear like that.
