Cliffs:
- Account names Jackaroo and BluDevill were reported to Party for being bots.
- Party insider (allegedly) starts a thread in 2p2 asking regs for their opinion
- Information about the two accounts and few others gathered supporting the accusation
- Jackaroo, BluDevill accounts are closed by Party and funds seized. No explanation why and no information if players will be refunded.

In the other thread people were explaining that its actually 12bb/100, so yes its pretty outrageous.

Its always hilarious that these bots run rampant, party does nothing on its own to stop them and relies on players to crack down the bots? And even when you email them with incredible details they don't respond??

Anyone who plays on party, is insane.

You are all just being racist to robots, and should be careful because they "could" come back from the future and wipe us all out (didn't you see the warning propaganda about skynet?)

Bots are an inevitably and not at all a problem

what you should be concerned about is the "effective rake" or the profitability of the game.

Take two sites, one with bots and one without. If the bot site is more profitable to play on, are bots still an issue so you will play on the less profitable site?

Do we think stars doesn't have bots just because they don't "discover" any?

^ and given the WR at 1/2 over that large sample id suggest that these 2 accounts aren't bots, just someone rather good at poker multi accounting.

I have played a lot against BluDevill and one of the other accounts accused (budhareaction). Imo BluDevill is very good and budhareaction is/was the best nl100 reg on Party.

Just think of all of our winrates if we could take away all the plays which are way below our usual standards from the database. A bot always plays at its peak capacity. I don't think our human ability to better exploit makes up for this.

I'd be more worried about insiders than bots, bots can be beat, but the others cannot, I play on all networks, party is the one where I have the worst itm%, still positive though, and small sample. One of the reasons to not win as much there is also the software crashes that happen almost every single game. I made several complaints to support but they just don't seem to care.
