I talked to him on the phone, offered to take him to a GA meeting; he didn't ask me for money and I didn't give him any. We had a long talk. He bailed on the GA meeting and we never spoke again. Brutally honest and terribly sad. I'm in AA and that's what we do, we offer to help addicts. But it's a slippery slope when you get played by someone.

There's been quite a lot of debate since then. Some people say 41 pages, some say 81, one guy claims 406 pages lol. I don't know who to believe.

Yeah somewhere in the middle haha. All I know is at least he had the balls to admit what he did and come clean on here. Took a lot of **** obviously but definitely impressed me. Again look at someone like zima or Chino or Hawkins or most any of the other people accused of scams. Don't say a word don't apologize don't do nothin.

I might have mentioned this in an earlier post but with Foxwoods as my home casino, I know people that have done 10 times worse things than Mike has ever done. But it's not public knowledge so there is no public blowback or criticism. Most people have skeletons in the closet, especially in a seedy environment like casino gambling. But they're the first people to act all high and mighty calling someone else out, see zima.

Hope the guy if he's playing poker again hits a nice score and gets his life together. Easier said than done however with someone with a huge gambling addiction. I wonder if he drinks or does drugs. That would be even worse.
