Not sure but a $5,000 bet offer against every person in the world seems to suffer from a problem with self-selection among folks willing to take his offer.....

probably a bunch of 3rd World folks for whom his 8 tips will mean nothing .... is he proposing to pay each of them $5,000 if they accept his bet.... ?

well to be fair, you'd have to compare his book to other poker books, or at least poker known authors. Obviously any poker book will be performing bad when compared overall.

No. By chance I was contacted today by a potential author of who told me that he had talked to D&B Poker and they told him how poorly the Hellmuth autobiography was selling. So out of curiosity, I got on Amazon to see its sales rank and noticed this new book.

Phil Hellmuth wrote this self help book only because he didn't want Daniel Negreanu - with his Choice Center self help cult ideas - beating him to it.

Poker must really be dead for poker players to be trying to branch outside the game. First, Annie Duke writes a business book about how to achieve excellence in the area of decision making for business success. Now Hellmuth writes a self help book with a copycat title.

Doug Lee should write a book about real estate investing.
