+1

Just because a boxer can't beat mayweather or pacquiao doesn't mean they can't fight. Kudos to him for wanting to beat not just anyone but the best. That is probably one of the characteristics that made him so successful in the first place.

Re: Bill Perkins Appreciation Thread

His personality annoys me but that's subjective so can't realistically hate on that.

However, if he plays in high stakes games semi-often with the same skill-level that he's played in the televised games, he is just an idiot. Throwing away tens / hundreds of thousands in a game where he is at a HUGE disadvantage is ridiculous, that money could do so much good and he's just dumping it to poker players instead of people who need it (note: if it was an occasional thing then whatever, but IIRC he was friendly with Phil Laak on The Big Game which makes me think he is playing in big games in Vegas and/or LA semi-regularly)

inb4 haters gonna hate I think it's a legitimate thing to be annoyed by

Good luck at the tables.
and Jaws 3. just sayin

So? Who cares? Its his money and he can do whatever he wants with it. So he wants to play some high stakes poker with the pros. Who doesn't?

I lmao'd at you whining that he doesn't donate it to charity. Who in the world are you to tell him what he should do with his hard earned money. But fwiw he does donate quite a bit to the Save the Children organization.

Haters gonna hate and jealous kids gonna be jelly. lol.

Usually when someone is thought of as a trust fund baby they are thought of as arrogant and think they are better than other. Bill Perkins is a great Guy and seems to act like a fun loving class act. I am rooting for him in the $1 million buy in wsop event. Plus if he wins I think he would donate a good chunk to charity which is awesome.
