Only thing better than this would be if Pokerstars also announced a firm deal with the U.S. congress to legalize online poker and President Obama is practicing his signature to sign the bill tomorrow!

On the other hand, all through this whole mess since Black Friday I have never used my One Time(tm).

Maybe it's time to think about doing that...

Come ooon!

God I hope this is not true. It would mean the "new" FullTilt2" could not come to the US when we finally get legislation.

Please be true please be true

This would be great news (and I started a thread 11 months ago suggesting Stars do this). That being said, can someone please explain to me how Tapie fits into this? It is not possible he was just a decoy. Do you think he was just a smaller investor and willing to take attention while Stars was the big money machine?

Stars buying FTP doesn't necessarily exclude Tapie from being part of the deal.

The longer this stays up without the "big suits" on 2+2 shutting it down, the more legit it will be. Hope it stays up a long time!

I predict that if this is true that this poster will declare himself a prophet

Wonderful, let's be happy that a company is having a big monopoly in a market, it always turns out to be very profitable for customers!

If this were somehow true, wouldn't that just mean a long period of negotiations, due diligence, etc. all over again? (not really complaining though)

Maybe that's been going on behind the scenes all this time and Tapie was a diversion.

Hey, I can dream!
