I had a similar experience with a former vietnam war vet several years back in a local card room. He felt he was allowed to berate and curse at will, talking obscenities and nonsense. He would throw his cards at the dealer if he lost and curse them out if he got outdrawn but when he was winning everyone was his friend.

this kid is amazing...im sarge and let me tell the real version of this story..first i want to thank jennifer harmon for putting on a great event..i also want tothank the LIPS team for inviting me to play on their team..and Congtats to LIPS TEAM 2 for winning the team competition..lots of fun!! Now to this ridicolous story...first i think all of you who do know me know this kid is full of ****..but this story is too funny to pass up..im going to jump to monday's events where jedidia "the station" cant stop bantering players play or comment on their experiences calling rocks down with j3 and telling them how bad they play or what they did wrong...finally i call the kid a ********** and the floor is called over..we are given a warning..not ten minutes later Danny who all Reno poker players know..(58 yar old man) defends a female at the table and threatens to beat the stations ass..this kid has balls to tell him he should be ready to back up threats like that..Danny loses his mind goes after him..the floor seperates them..the kid then calls the police to fill out a rport and get escorted to his car..he says be ready to back up those words then calls the police..not even security..jedidia was kicked out of the room..funniest thing i have ever seen..but thats the real story..

Doubt this happened, some of the rest seems Sargesk, but physically intimidating is not his style. I played 3 sessions with him the week prior, he acts slow & talks a bit, but the "absolute worst piece of trash poker player/ human ever", might be a bit ool.

i hadnt read all the threads about me talking about my exprience in Iraq..for those that know me, know that i really dont elaborate on what goes on over there..dont know where or what theses stories this kid is talkingabout but for those that asked how it went, i kept most answers to pretty quiet and said glad to be out of there..been in the army 18 plus years and never brag about any of my doings..i did talk about the aria game in which jungleman was there and made a great play with a set of 7's on a 4 spade board..and continued by saying that it was a great table cuz 7 of us left the game and went to XS..that whole crew was great..once again if anyone else reads these posts and was at the game on monday would love for you to validate..i am sure like all at the poker table i have lost my cool but in this situation was defending the others and finally the floor got it right and removed this young man..

I'm not sure what you're talking about or who you think i am but quit de-railing the thread. I'm talking about a game at the Peppermill Casino in Reno on Friday night before the HPT Tourney where a dude named "Sarge" was making an complete ass of himself and being a general DBag. No one was removed from the table but several left do to this idiots antics and it basically ruined the game. If you are the Sarge and playing in a game in Reno on a MONDAY then he must be a Reno local which explains why his complete DBaggery did not end with him being removed from the table, I guess when you're a local you can do and say whatever the eff you want and get away with it... Whatever Sarge, have fun in Reno and try to screw to many dirty hookers.

Easiest way to needle a divorced military guy is to joke about the "Jodie" who banged the hell out of his wife. Be sure to use the word "Jodie."

Another fun way to needle fat people is to call service, and ask, "My buddy over there would like to see a menu." Doesn't matter if they have food or not.

You can also try asking tubby dudes if it's going to be a boy or a girl.

What the **** is he going to do? Attack you? There's cameras all over the place. He knows he'll do time, and he knows that he'll lose the civil suit too. Odds are, he's too much of a puss to do it.

Or, if you're too much of a puss to try any of the above, and he's a big talker, just interrupt him every now and then. Contradict him whenever possible.

One old standard is to ask a preflop raiser if they could beat 4/5 off suit w/ a straight face. Then ask it again 15 minutes later.

All of these can be pulled off while acting like a mouth-breather that is ignorant and oblivious to the world. And more importantly, if you tilt him first, you're going to take his moneys.

Yes it was Friday around 9:00 pm, if your the real Sarge you would know I never wear no hoodies fool, but your not... And I'm never going back to Reno for the exact reason of DBags locals like "The Sarge", at least in Vegas if you act out of line you get removed from the table, it was a shtty tournament anyway with a lame structure..

I have been a reno local for a number of years. The picture of "sarge" is the real sarge. He's from Auburn area and would show up to the tournaments for years. He had a big bankroll and played really lag in deep games and it worked back then. He has been absent for a few years but I did see him saturday night at the peppermill. He has been known to be loud and animated at times but never really known as a total Dbag. He's been known to gamble huge in the pit and maybe the book too. I can also vouch for "Danny" that was mentioned. The description sarge gives in the post sounds spot on.

Again, the behavior doesn't sound like the guy I've seen around for years. It sounds like an exaggerated story. That seems to be the general consensus of most people here that have played with him.

Just because "Sarge" wants to blurt out that he and his buddies used to get a "suck n f**k" for $70 back in the day doesn't mean the rest of the table is comfortable hearing it, he singles out an early twenties dude and asks him has he ever effed a hooker in the ass and the kid was literally crawling in his skin, he goes on to say just watch out for "exchanging juices kid..." so gross.. there were two ladies at the table and he didn't care in the least, so disrespectful, especially when in the same breath he talks about his 19 yr old daughter and then go on to needle the older Asian donk after he gets sucked out on or get into it with the other DBag at the table and escalate a tense situation instead of diffuse it... He would also blatantly break house rules like waiting till he got both his hole cards and then throw out a $30 straddle and when the dealer objected he would be like "I'm the Sarge, I straddle ever time, no one here objects, ask anyone, check the tape I straddle every time..." Then someone would object and he would bully and needle them for the next half hour until they left the table or switched seats. After being a total jackass for like an hour he would switch to serious mode and start telling his tall tales of military service, expecting everyone to be in total awe because he was a GI, somehow excusing his horrific and blatant disregard for anyone else at the table for the last hour... How is this not DBaggery??? At a poker table people are captive audiences and all players should be aware of that and be respectful of others.
