The Best Poker Blogs

Having read blogs from many well-known poker players (as well as some lesser known ones), and enjoying many of them very much, I'm interested in what blogs others regularly read (especially ones aside from the widely read/discussed ones).

The very best blog that I've read up to this point has to be Sauce123's on Leggo Poker. Ben communicates EXTREMELY well, and writes eloquently of everything from insane, ridiculous, mindblowing hands to philosophy to literature. You can also find hand analyses from his battles with durrrr, urnot, and many others at stakes up to 500/1k. It's a must-read for anyone who is interested in improving his game. From priceless nuggets of wisdom to deep reflection on the game from one of the game's most advanced players (if not the absolute best), it's filled with enough information to keep you thinking for long after you've finished his 6 pages of entries on Leggo.

The next most interesting blog IMO is aejones' on Leggo Poker. This is one of the most read blogs around so I won't go into too much. If you haven't checked it out, just go...now!

A few others that I think deserve to be mention are Phil Galfond's (on Bluefire Poker), Haseeb's old blog (CardRunners), and Ashton Griffin's (Leggo Poker). They all write very well and they always have something to offer for those looking for strategy pointers, as well as the majority who just want to see some sick poker degenness.

My view is that high-stakes poker has made so many young kids wise beyond their years. I mean, if you go through some of those blogs as someone who is of similar age to the bloggers, it isn't too easy to be shocked at some of the insight that they have.

So, they are some of my recs. Feel free to post other blogs that you have found to be worth reading.

Oh yeah, and 1-time for a Viktor Blom blog............!!!!!

Not sure if he's updated anytime recently but Tony Dunst's blog used to be the nuts.

Far from the best, but if you like reading about hands and miscellaneous real-life happenings from a part-time $1/2 to $5/10/20 live player you can check out http://www.robgracepoker.com/blog

Re: The Best Poker Blogs

One of my favorites for a while now has been doublefly's blog: http://doubleflypoker.blogspot.com/
Maybe not as much strategy as some of those mentioned above (I'll have to check them out), but interesting to see how a somewhat normal, small to medium stakes NL guy manages poker, family life, and all the other off topic things he talks about. He's got a good sense of humor, too.

You don't f*ck with certain people and certain entities. The People came back strong. The City came back strong. The Country came back strong. And everyone who f*cked with us are dead. Was it worth it, bitches?!?

Re: The Best Poker Blogs

Big fan of Bond18's....wish he would update more. He used to be on top of it. I guess that's what happens when he isn't sitting at his computer 8 hours a day grinding the MTT's. I know I'm going to get clowned on this but I still enjoy DN's on full contact.
