Sunday Milion 2nd place player celofyz33, cheater?! Sunday Milion 2nd place player celofyz33, cheater?!

02-03-2010 , 02:12 PM
Hi.
At first sorry for my english. As everybody know, there was the biggest Sunday Milion last sunday, 31 of January 2010.
http://www.pokerstarsblog.com/sm/201...pe-063719.html

There is a little problem with 2nd place owner, celofyz33 (win $332,540.00).
In Poland, it is "tabu" thead, nobody wants to talk about it.

Ok, now some facts.
On polish forum pokerstrategy, somebody with "celofyz33" nick wrote some posts. As a woman!
http://pl.******************/forum/t...?postid=188806 (pl.poker startegy.com)
This for example, SHE (cause celofyz use female forms) posts about pokerstrategy ranking. So its obvious, that celofyz33 is player, who get first deposit bonus from this site - pokerstrategy. And is is obvious that this accout was created on female name! (because celofyz33 posts on ps forum as a woman). It was about year ago.

Now I must tell you about famous (in Poland) player, Rafał Arendt, fact_or_fiction. Here is his blog: http://www.polishrounders.org/index....gi/rafalarendt

Hes now a pretty solid player, became famous in Poland when he final tabled Unibet Open.

On his blog, he wrote that hes playing poker about year, and in early 2009 his bankroll was only 300-400$. Later he grind much more money, win entry to WSOP ME (but cash out it), and became a NL200 and MTT grinder.
He wrote about his great sucess: 5th place in 2009 SCOOP ME (low), when he won 15k$.

Now please look at this:
http://www.pokerprolabs.com/A359C57E...809782ED8.aspx
http://www.pokerprolabs.com/celofyz33/pokerstars.aspx

Sunday Milion 2nd place owner is Rafał Arendt, playing as celofyz33 on pokerstars. But probably this account is opened as FEMALE.
I guess he opens this account to get 50$ pokerstrategy bonus. Or maybe it is his friend/girlfriend/sister account?

In Poland everybody knows that Rafał Arendt is celofyz33, and that he wins over 300k$ in last Sunday Milion. But he never and nowhere wrote about it. When smb is telling "hey, but on pokerstrategy celofyz33 write as a female", than gets response like "stfu".

What do you think about it?

btw. I'm asking about this on his blog at www.polishrounders.org but nobody gives me any answer.

Mark.

Can you find out if his standard account also played in the same sunday million?

Im only want PokerStars to take a look at celofyz33 account on pokerstars and check if it is "female" or "male" account. Because everybody knows that this is Rafał Ardent account (hes playing on it), but if support check it and there will figure "Maria Kowalska", or "Andrzej Nowak"... it will be no good imo.

Maybe he lost headas up beacause of this? IDK. I only want to hear the truth.

Very interesting, thanks OP. I'm gonna make sure stars sees it.

let's say stars decides this guy actually cheated ... what do they do with the money assuming he hasn't cashed out?
02-03-2010 , 02:37 PM
They move everyone else up one spot.

I am starting to feel like online poker is becoming one of the safest places in the world with the amount of self-policing that happens...especially lately.

I have no comment on the OP (sorry for hijack) but I just hope all these threads have either a "busted and dealt with" or "player exonerated" end to them, lets not leave them all just hanging unfinished.

Assuming that the account is disqualified they would move everyone up a place and redistribute the prizes accordingly (ie everyone who would qualify for a larger payment if that player hadn't played would get an email saying 'Hi, have some money!').

People have to get caught first. There are alot of guys cheating and not getting caught.

is it still common for high stakes MTT players to purchase accounts from other players when they are deep into a MTT?
02-03-2010 , 02:49 PM
Hmm very interesting

If he is only one who ever played that account is it still cheating even if he never had any other accounts? Does it mattter who opened the account?

I have kind of a two part question follow up to this.

Even if it was someone else account but he played this tourney from beginning to end does that violate PS ToS?

If it violates the ToS what does everyone think he actually did wrong if he played the tourney from beginning to end?

Is it that he possibly plays a lot better and different then the person who started the account? Thus confusing people who might think it was the original person?

As far as Pokerstars is concerned..
It matters a lot who opens the account. It is strictly intended for the use of the player who registers the name on the site. As far as if they would get in trouble for it being their name on the registration then I'm unsure.

And I'm not sure I understood the first part correctly...but anyone who exclusively plays two accounts, ESPECIALLY in the same MTT/cash table/or anything that doubles one persons' odds of winning should be considered a cheater.

Imagine you and a friend sitting across from each other playing a 9 man table with 7 blow up dolls where he is frequently standing up and checking the f*ck dolls hole cards and acting for them. Now pretend its online, no fk dolls, just him and 8 laptops and you with yours.
^^ maybe an odd analogy....

very odd. No one (at least me) needs more than 2 different **** dolls.

Case in point: Mark/Natalie Teltscher in the 2007 WCOOP, $1.2million bonus for those left in.

If the account "celofyz33" is in Rafal's name, then the only thing you have is some posts on a 3rd party website as a woman.
And if the only link you have is the same nickname, then you have nothing. People tend to use famous player's nicks, I could register on some small site as Money800 and berate Elvis in the forum there, that doesn't mean that Moneymaker dislikes Elvis.

Says 75champ75 from Canada took 5th for $56k.

5th didn't pay 15k, and the 5th place finisher isn't from Poland.
