Re: Bench Press Prop Bet

LOFL that would put his max damn close to 500 lbs. Most guys could train hard for a decade and never even come close to hitting 365 for 10 reps. Pressing that kind of weight is just as much about genetics as it is working hard. I don't care if you are the biggest gym rat in the world. If you don't have the genetics for it you are never even gonna sniff that kind of weight for those kind of reps.

Re: Bench Press Prop Bet

NFL Player Brian Orakpo - 6'3" 263lbs

31 reps of 225lbs

max bench press 515lbs

max squat 600lbs

Took him 4 years of proffesional training to get to that point.

no way in hell a normal guy could do this prop bet in 1 year!

Re: Bench Press Prop Bet

Even with unlimited amounts of steroids he will lose this bet...unless he is already benching over 300lbs (which I guarantee he isnt).

Re: Bench Press Prop Bet

I changed my mind, if hes already benching 300lbs he still loses this bet 100% of the time.

There are 180lbs powerlifers who are stronger at the powerlifts then that guy.. football players are generally bad examples to relate strength too, as they train for football and generally couldnt give 2 ****s what they squat or bench.

Re: Bench Press Prop Bet

Absolutely impossible, lay him 100-1 on this. I used to bench 315 which is good but obv not great....365 for 10 is absurd, especially looking at JR's body now.

Re: Bench Press Prop Bet

initial reaction was lol unpossible but if he:

a) has benched in the neighbourhood of 300 before
b) took copious amounts of roids and gh
c) has very short arms in relation to his height

it's possible.

Re: Bench Press Prop Bet

Even if he takes a bunch of steroids he never ever do 365 for 10reps maybe for 1rep but i doubt it (10 reps @365=max rep 485)
id bet my whole roll on this if i could such a surebet
