I didn't really follow this thread.

Im currently stayin in France and here you can only play on .fr sites and im not able to go to my partypoker account...
If i'm back in Belgium will i still be able to get to my funds and play online poker/casino on parytpoker or does belgium also start blocking the .com versions?!

Please a quick answer as there is enough money on theire so that i travel back and withdraw everything if it is still possible.

THx
You've got at least the rest of 2011, blocking won't start before 2012 (and it's not clear yet if internet providers will really start blocking then)

They e-mailed me with a text about points wich referred to their site. This link only spoke about 3k. They will send you that code through a letter wich you have to sign off on for receiving (don't know the english term for this). After you give that first code you can change methods to text messaging, don't know anything about e-mail.

This so very much. Unibet also has 'freerolls' like that.
However, that being said, it's still hugely +EV to take all rebuys and add-ons. I'm ITM like 80%, and already shipped one and ended 2nd in another.

Re: Belgium wanna apply same law as in France

cant read all the flemish but ive been following the thread regularly,

cliffs:
-for the moment theres a trial period, and there is global cash games on stars.
-also inter account transfers are global
-have to enter your belgian registry matricule number on stars
-people are worried how much information is getting sent/could get sent to the government in the future
-people are getting contradicting answers from the different part of the governments (finance/taxes and the gaming regulation (dont know the names sorry) ) one was saying that for occasional players they dont have to pay tax (like lottery/live poker) and one was saying its 33%.

i dont know what u mean by "sign off" but clearly since i live 8000km away, i'm not gonna go pick up the letter...

To me, it seems, their whole "keep playin on .be even if ur abroad..." line is BS

what about my other questions? Steve? Still no answer from support...

what do they mean by national registry number?
what do they mean by athentication every 3000 points threshold before withdrawal? What kind of authentication is that? by whom, stars or someone in Belgium? is that 3000 vpps or fpps? does that threshold stay the same or does it vary?

and, seeing how they answer questions, did stars hire some of the FTP support employees?

and

if i create a new account can i transfer funds from my .be account to
my .com account? can i use the same username? will i get a first deposit
bonus?

ps: dunno how to multi-quote, so italic it is

You can't use the same username, as that name is already taken.
