If those statements tilt you, how about this?

I think that what happened was atrocious, but I don’t think it was handled atrociously. And I think that’s really what matters, you know, is that how it was handled. And it was not handled atrociously, it was actually handled very gracefully, and by the way ethically and with integrity. And they stepped up to the plate in a way much more than they really had to by any letter of the law.

I have also looked at some photos of his place. Hellmuth's description:

Greg's "Street of Dreams" house. You should see this place! It has an indoor basketball court, that you can see from the bar. In fact, you can throw basketballs from a balcony next to the bar. It has a "Horizonless pool" with a waterfall in the middle. And, of course, there is the private garage with a couple of amazing cars and motorcycles. Nice place Greg! And really, I was up there to support my man Greg, and his wife Janelle.

Re: Barry Says Russ is Innocent

I was playing with Barry in the triple draw tournament. I am not at all familiar with the details of this case but because of this thread I asked him if he still thinks there is a decent chance Russ is innocent. He said yes and started to explain why but I was not really following. Others at the table were though and talked to him about it in more detail.

this contradicts with what Barry has just posted...I wish DS would have paid more attention at the table when Barry was trying to explain it to him

Do you frequently ask questions and then not pay attention to the answers?

Just b/c I wanted to be the 4th person in a row to quote your post

If Barry or others think there is a decent chance Russ is innocent, I would like to hear it. I have a theory, but find it hard to believe that Russ is completely innocent. I wish I could have given Mr. Sklansky some questions to ask, or told him my theory to run it by Barry. I am holding off on posting my theory about what I think happened, but I could see the part about Russ not being in on it initially, but later finding out and taking a cut.

Who wrote the piece of software and placed it on the server? Wouldn't the person who wrote it be familiar with the UB software code? I mean in order to write a program to see hole cards, wouldn't the person have to know how the hole-card data was written to decode it? I do not have a good understanding on how that works.

Also, to David, any chance the guy talking to Barry is the same guy you mentioned ITT you created in December? Major Player Doubts Russ Hamilton's Guilt

DS,

Why do you make so many posts on the UB scandal purposefully highlighting how little you know about this case?

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/29...-guilt-364210/

This scandal has been going on for almost two years now.

Why don't you take an hour or two read the postings on the topic, like the sticky at the top of this forum to familiarize yourself with the details of the case? I almost feel like you're remaining willfully ignorant or being disingenuous about how much you really have been paying attention to this issue.

Given your position in the poker community you would seem to have a lot of access to many of the people who might have pieces of information to find out what really happened here. It would be nice when you're around them to be able to get some more information about what happened.

Oh, and we won't mind your "dissing" the Internet math kids either.
