Druff will be unbanned as soon as he completely disassociates himself from NWP and denounces their hateful tactics. All they are is a hate site masquerading under the claim of no censorship. So there is no misunderstanding in what I have said, anyone who is associated as a principle in a group (or website) that appears to have as its sole purpose that of damaging the reputation of others and from which they derive pleasure in doing this has no business being on Two Plus Two.

Again, if Druff is straight as you say, he can solve his banning from our site very quickly. Disassociate in all ways and fully from NWP.

Okay Malmuth, under your criteria, which I agree with, start banning 90% of the douche bags that post in BBV.

Everytime a legitimate poster post about a beat, your typical responses are nothing but hatred vial crap.

ie: Unbeliveable beat tonight...

responses.."you suck" "you're bad at poker" "you suck at poker"\
"you're not any good" etc.....

I can't stand the level of discourse on NWP forums - that's why I post here. But Mason is punishing good posters (well, at least one) for the racist/sexist/gay bashing morons that are allowed to express themselves on their site. From listening to their radio show, the hosts themselves don't promote this, and have actively been denouncing it. I hope you're listening to the broadcast Mason. These guys are making a lot of good points.

I never saw the thread in question. If I saw those derogatory remarks I would have complained in the mod forum and tried to get those remarks or threads removed. I prefer to have all posters and persons treated in a civil and professional manner on these forums.

I apologize to Annette if she has been treated that way on 2+2. I have chatted with her at the tables and corresponded with her on poker forums. I think she is a very, very strong player, an asset to the poker community and a very nice young woman. JMHO

Those threads were starting to get really bad but everyone was to busy laughing at Brandi, Pimp, David Skalanski and that dumb **** Micon to notice until Micon and Brandi took it to a whole new level of disgusting.

2+2 let the **** build up for so long that when they finally decided to clean it up they had to use some Industrial strength banning. Micon and Brandi defiantly had to go along with all the gimmick accounts from the slim balls at NWP. Didn't see what Druff and some of the others did to get banned so I'm not going to comment on that.

I have lurked at NWP a few times. The first time was when Chip Reese died and I was thoroughly disgusted with the place. I have also linked over there a couple of times from the Brandi threads just to see what kind of stupid **** Micon was up too. Never plan on going back.

Some guy here on 2+2 is even using him in his avatar, right? As well as e-stalking him on the tables. So maybe it's inappropriate for him to start a thread asking "what's up with that?" when he could simply send a PM and/or contact Cake support about it.
But that is hardly ban-worthy. It's the type of thing that previously was allowed here all the time. So tell Dan that he shouldn't do that anymore because 2+2 is going to change the tone around here.

Druff is a smart guy who can play ball if you just tell him what the rules are.

Banning Druff over something like this is so ridiculously incorrect.

Druff was HUGE on the whole Absolute mess and analysis of the situation. We owe him some thanks for that one. This is a topic that Mason tried to get involved in too but, as far as I could see, Druff was actually extremely helpful in the analysis while it was still all trying to be figured out whereas Mason kind of entered the scene after the fact except that he did apparently tell AP to 'forget it' when they requested that all those threads about it be deleted.

Druff has also made some very good points in the thread about SillySal vs. Full Tilt supposedly'stealing' her money.

So he trolled PokerBob a little bit in a thread on here to get back at all the weird trolling Bob did to him on Cake. That is one mild error as far as I can tell.
give him a couple little 2+2 infraction points, tell him the tone is going to change around here beginning now, and move on.
He's too valuable to just throw him out like that.

I'm a little tired of some of these bans that Mason occasionally hands out when he's feeling grouchy and/or slightly bothered.
The bans that he gives were not given out by the mods OF that specific forum who have a much better idea of what goes on in and around their own forums.
Mason ends up banning the most mild of transgressors when he could just contact the mod of that forum and say "We need some new rules beginning now" without banning everyone who violated said rules BEFORE the change and when such stuff was still allowed.

Paul, however, should never have been banned. mason was looking to get rid of him, and this should never have been his mentality. when u have someone as great and intelligent as paul as a member of your site, you try and work out differences and establish compromise. u dont run him off the site cuz he's threatening your ego.
the paul phillips situation was the most disappointing thing i've ever seen on this site.

yes, i really want paul phillips back even nore so than dan druff. no offense druff.

when ego gets in the way it makes for foolish outcomes.
