I just watched all 6 parts...very interesting, thanks for posting. Some thoughts:

This was filmed after 2003 as they show Moneymaker at the end, yet the production value seems to be so low, thought that was odd?

It bothered me how they put over Binion as much as they did (Doyle calling him a father figure) and just brushing over the fact that the guy was a terrible human being who murdered many people.

Lastly, it was shocking how bad/wrong the play by play for every hand they showed was.

"He has an inside straight" Actually 7-high in a lowball game.

"Chau bet $8,000, Doyle raises to $12,000, a raise of $4,000!) As they show Doyle raising to $16,000 as $12,000 is obvioulsy illegal.

And lastly they spent 6 minutes talking about NLHE, and midway through it show the players playing stud it looked like. The editors had no idea what poker is.

But overall very interesting.

He called him Barry GreenSTEEN. Still laughing. 1:25.

Phil and Barry also didn't like Doyle talking about something in the 2nd part, Phil says don't say that the cameras are on.

BERRY GREEN STEEN

BERRY'S 7 HIGH STRAIGHT IS BETTER THAN DOYLE'S 7 HIGH STRAIGHT

Heh you'd think someone would have explained the game to the camera crew. Very entertaining.

I've watched that hand a couple of times, because it looked to me like Barry had 76542 and Doyle 75432. However, when he gets the chips, you can see that Barry actually had the 75432, so they probably showed Barry's hand for Doyle and Doyle's for Barry, because they thought 76542 was the better hand and Barry got the money

OP obviously meant bold. This is because these players were less aggressive and therefore not so bold in their play.

Barry shows a 76542 for a 7-6 LOW.
Doyle shows a 75432 for a 7-5 low.
If they are indeed playing lowball, then Doyle not only has the WINNING hand, but the nuts.
