What was your BR before the WSOP ME?
I started out playing 5.50 sngs then after my first month I had over 1k so I moved to cash games. Just went from there. I won a 14k gtd on full tilt in feb. giving me a huge bankroll boost and letting me take shots hire. I didn't really play that many mtts and focused on cash games. Until this luckboxament almost my entire br came from cash games. I don't really like to talk about specific bankroll stuff for a multitude of reasons.

I'm definitely going to try to get back to grinding after november and also pursue some hobbies.
Are you saying that you love to grind poker as a millionaire? I'll rephrase: I, you, and 2p2 "grind" poker so that we can improve your game and have some fun and possibly meet people, but mostly with the end result aiming at getting huge sums of money. You acquire money beyond your wildest dreams, and now "grind" for more money?

Aren't you just grinding for a better game, good time, and friends at this point?

You're a millionaire guaranteed right?

Why not just... ahhh forget it. Trying not to hate on you bro. Just realize that you're insanely insanely lucky, and your life has clearly been marked by a single account of luck. Don't spoil it with a bunch of unnecessary gambling.

Re: Ask a member of the November 9

How many chips do you have going into the final table (Stupid question I know, I just haven't been following this November 9 stuff at all)?

What are your thoughts on possibly being the youngest WSOP ME winner ever? Is it something that motivates you outside of the bracelet and $9 million? I know a ton of people are rooting for you so we don't have to listen to Hellmuth being touted as the youngest winner ever.

Are you doing anything different from your daily routine in terms of the preparation for the final table or are you confident enough that you can lay low and relax for the next month and then play your A game there?

Anyways, thanks for taking questions and good luck at the final table.

Re: Ask a member of the November 9

The thing is that I have a unique opportunity being this young and having so much liquid capital. I can put most of that money to work for me while still paying for all my expenses and so forth by continuing playing. In my opinion the worst part of poker is worrying about a downswing and feeling forced to play when you're stuck. Playing poker online gives me an unbelievable amount of free time and flexibility, and you have my intentions totally wrong if you think I'm going to play to the exclusion of all else. I'm still going to pursue my interests and hobbies and enjoy myself as much as I can, but I still do enjoy and hopefully will continue to enjoy playing poker, so I really don't see a reason to stop "grinding." I doubt I will play 100k hands a month like I used to, but I don't think playing 30k or so would affect my lifestyle at all. That all being said, I feel like most of my grinding would be done sitting on the beach =O with a laptop.

I have 10.2m, which comes out to 41bb going into the final table. I'm 8/9 in chips, but stacks are fairly close and 41 blinds is tons of play imo. I'm just taking it easy. I'll start thinking about it more as it gets closer, but I feel like theres not a ton I should be doing right now to prepare.

Sorry to repeat myself but you missed a question:

I also apologize if you've previously answered the question but I'm too lazy to look through the entire thread.

Re: Ask a member of the November 9

after the main event final table would you consider going to israel to play high buyin tournament in tel aviv? NL HOLD EM is growing in israel dramatically. It will be held sometime in Jan 2009, $10k or maybe $20k buyin event.

Re: Ask a member of the November 9

first off congrats for the millionth time

any TV poker personalities that you sat with that ended up being completely different then they are portrayed on TV?

biggest soulread you put on anyone during the tourney? biggest soulread someone put on you?

it's been mentioned that you'd be the youngest champ in history, but for some of us that don't know, how old are you?
