Think it will need some updating...if I won Main Event might be on list. Might go to towers instead though. Nice to dream.

I've got a feeling anyone complaining too loud about photo processing fees was invited to visit and stand under the descending ceiling fan of death.

Damn it looks like it came out of a giant food processor.

Maybe he won't sell now that he won another bracelet?

Is LV under water restrictions like California is now?

Because another business venture was doing screwing customers, it's ok that Eli was doing it as well? For some reason, idolatry of celebrities leads to all sorts of excuses...

It came down to the pictures were held for ransom. If you traveled from countries half way around the globe and knew you weren't coming back to Las Vegas anytime soon you want the photos. In some cases they were of relatives living in this country that met up with people traveling. Imagine going back to Japan empty handed when someone's grandmother wanted see a picture of them. You paid the ransom when in many cases was $45-$100. Give credit to Eli. He created a phenomenal business. Was it slightly unethical, sure but how about the time share business that was flourishing at the time.

Apparently, he owes Shaun Deeb and a ton of other people a bunch of money, and has for years:

http://www.crushlivepoker.com/podcas...un-deeb-speaks

The part about Eli starts at about 01:06 (free podcast, listenable by everyone, etc.)

Looks like Galfond started a trend in outing people.

shaun deeb compared eli to chino rheem and erick lindgren.
he either said eli owes more people than those guys or owes more money, couldn't tell which.
shaun said eli's debt to just shaun is $52,500. (another guy shaun mentions in the podcast owes shaun $300K.)

There are indicators that the money is drying up quickly at the top with these pros now revealing this stuff, it is very possible if you compare it to the global markets that the tides are turning for the worse in poker financing too. There are a bunch of Madoffs at the tables.

As Shaun Deeb says even someone as such as him is down several million in tournament play over a 10 year period as a pro.

I have no evidence at all but this guy gives of the image of being a dodgy bloke. Everything about him reaks of dodginess, his face, his name, his fasion sense & his poker game. I've live in south west Sydney all my life and I have quiteb the talent in identifing dodgy.

Does this even surprise anybody? He was terrible even by 2008 standards. Seriously, did anyone see this guy not screw up a hand he played?

As limon says, there's no such thing as a live tournament pro.

Negreanu. Unless you want to just consider him a pro PokerStars shill. But I'd be shocked if he has a consistent income at anything other than live donkaments.

Home prices are up in LV & Henderson..there are a lot of new communities being built as we speak and people (out of towners) are standing in line to buy them up.

As of today Eli's "crib" is still up for sale..now would be a great time for him to dump it, make some money then go buy a more updated and or efficient house...his wife even said they plan on staying in Green Valley...

When was last time you saw a Full Tilt guy cash in anything besides Seidal or Ivey. Once the well dried up these guys just couldn't manage their bank rolls. No offense to Eli cause he seems like a nice guy and said he plans to pay Sean. IF Eli sells his house I'm sure Sean would be first in line.

Did the news on eli mess you guys up too its like finding santa isn't real all over again. I always thought he was a rich businessman. Although if you consider he plays in these super high limit games everyday 5-10mil in cash can run out rather quick so maybe he was rich 10 years ago.

The craziest thing he's accused of is playing behind with other peoples chips. Its idiotic for a casino to allow another player to sit in the place of an absent player the only protection the absent player receives for his stack is his chips are covered with a plastic tarp.

Whats to stop someone like eli from doing what he did and remove the tarp and play with someone else's stack then write them a IOU. Even chino rheem is like damn.

great job by deeb- not exactly a shocker that lots of poker players are scum.

it's amazing how many poker players borrow money to play and even worse how many stiff people.

It's even more ridiculous how angry people get if you tell them no.

I know dealers at the Bellagio were wondering when his money would dry up as far back as 2004.
