They never do get old - but just to give you guys a heads up - Archie was also well known for exagerating his storys. Either way - this self proclaimed legend has legendary stories.
Spiro (55_lucky_55) had some good stories of Archie from the card room days. We need some of these stories to be told for the masses its these tales that have molded most of us today one way or another and most don't know why.
Didn't know the story. Very nice. Is somebody already making a movie about it? Could be a little bit of american gangster and larry flynt's movie i think.
"In December, 1992, Archie lost $2,000,000 playing high-stakes poker. Left with only $50 in his pocket, Archie decided to re-evaluate his situation, and felt he needed to take it up a notch and head to Las Vegas to gamble higher."

How does one top this?
This is how the true .5% of gamblers think...I would lock self in room with 8 ball and booze and loaded revolver had this been my miss fortune.
I'm sure Archie's story is really interesting, but the writing in this article is just horrible. I hope they aren't paying this guy for these articles.
