Your using some Daily Mail style reasoning to come up with some bull**** argument. Bonus points for getting angry about "taxpayers money" though. They show adverts during this programme.

Of course not.
I am not for a second questioning any of the other millionaires who have appeared on the show, and claiming they aren't donating their money,
but in general (and I assume you do not know too much about the backstories of these people) I'm sure their money that they donate has came from hard work and a good business ethic.
My point is that with someone who has a reputation which is as questionable as Feldman's, people are going to start wondering where this money came from, and it's no secret poker hasn't exactly been kind to Andrew.
Whether it's in the form of him giving out money from someone he may have rolled, from the Channel 4 budget, or anywhere else he may have got the donated cash from, I highly doubt he's able to splash out the cash himself, from his own "hard work" like many of the other people who have appeared on the show.
I'm opening up a very likely possibility here, trying to have a discussion (which is what forums are for after all) not trying to start an argument.
Oh and fwiw, the majority of their income is from audience figures, and not advertisments. That's just another avenue of profit for them.
