Maurice Hawkins was fun to watch when he was on the PCA featured table a couple years ago. Seems like not the nicest guy but a talented player and interesting character. I read about him sitting by the wall on the other side of the tournament room from his table on the bubble in the PCA main something like a decade ago. He told a reporter that he wasn't letting pocket aces cost him $15,000. How the times have changed.

This. Played alot with him when i was grinding at palm beach kennel club. You either love him or hate him. At first i thought he was a dbag who talked too much. After playing many hours with him, he def has game. Does he go overboard with the table talk? Yep. Does he make some very solid reads? Yep. Basically a very solid player with bad table manners. Winning 8 wsop circuit rings is more than running good.

Why are you acknowledging a known angle shooter scammer? I played with him twice on the east coast and literally both times he tried to angle shoot a player at the table. 1 guy called him out and he started acting all tough. Guy is a grade A scumbag.
