He just won his third wsop circuit main event this year.

Not sure if anyone else has ever won even 2 of these in a calendar year.

Winning 3 will probably never be duplicated.

You either love him or hate him. I've been on both sides.

But this a bit more than just run good

Dude's got solid game . Also finds ways to get in certain people's heads and make bad decisions and hand over their chips.

I kind of thought Hawkins was an asshat from some of his WSOP antics. I ran into him at Cherokee, however, and he changed my mind. I was sitting next to him at the bar of a restaurant on a dinner break and he pretended to steal my appetizer. He was totally joking around, but he was fairly convincing that he thought it was his. I took an instant liking to him -- he's playful and not at all self-serious.
