The new tariffs don't affect HS players, playing a couple of tables. Nobody is talking about them
me neither

Quote:
What stakes/ games/ players are you talking about?
at all stakes, there are low volume players with extremely high winrates, they are usually the best regs around

Quote:
I disagree. There wouldn't be enough money in it for regs to stay,
like i said, people would compensate lower volume with higher winrates, so yes, there would be enough money for regs to stay. Also, remember that for example in eastern european countries, 700$-1k$/month is a really decent salary, and you can make a living with as little as 400-500$/month.

Recs want a bit of fun. They want to limp and see flops. They don't want raised or iso'd every hand.
once again, with multabling limit, games would get MUCH tougher for recs.

Ive withdrawn 90% of my roll now and will only play the odd mtt

No more of my losing player deposits and zoom rake for them

Its only a couple hundred a month they will miss out on, but the more people that realise they are getting shafted, the more withdrawals will happen and more of a hit to their bottom line

There aren't any low volume big winning regs at low stakes They have to play huge volume to counter variance and make any money. You have heard of variance, right!!!

Yes, the games would be tougher if a good reg was concentrating on less tables. However, regs would disappear if PS stopped players multi tabling.

No, the charm of Poker is that it's a fun game. Of course a lot of school dropouts play it because they want to be a pro, yeah, but that's not the only thing that makes Poker huge.

Yeah, just like noone plays in Casino games since they can't be a Slotmachine or Roulette pro? Doesn't make any sense. People will still play because it's fun.

Actually he did raise rake before and the plans to implement Casino (and Sports Betting) come from his administration, way before Amaya.

Would be near impossible to bet as I stipulated 'if they keep this **** up' which would be really hard to quantify.

But I stand by what I said. If they continue down this path of squeezing out every last nickel no matter the damage to their brand, they are doomed.

Careful not to bite the hand that feeds too hard. There are some genuinely stupid ideas in here that are just as short-sighted as Amaya's recent ideas.

If 10,000 Players will think like you and dont give PS couple of hundred a month , then that is exactly over Million $ we are talking about .. it will start to hurt pokerstars n fulltilt with those figures ..

i am going to withdraw 90 % of my bankroll as well.. and only ll deposit if needed a Little amount when i Need to Play somthing Special mtt or satties into live games.. we cant trust anymore pokerstars n ft on our Money .. they are too much Money minded ...

Why do we donate money to the PPA? Poker Players Alliance is supposed to be there for the players, to protect players right to play, etc. I think we should use them for things like this rather than everyone trying to get someone to start a website or a group or whatever. IMO if we email the PPA with a good defense for our case, then it will def get the message out there.

People still donate to the PPA? Do they still give out a T shirt and a bonus at Stars for that?

Pokerstars would still be great for the NJ market. They will bring competition to the area and offer us great promos. They have every right to enter the market here. They are competing against 3 other poker sites, so let the free market dictate if they should be here or not.

but seriously noone should sign this and someone should compose a well articulated well reasoned petition and post here

Amaya is more than just Pokerstars. Amaya is already operating in New Jersey, they have an office somewhere in North Jersey.
They provide casino games for some of the sites already operating, i know they were providing some of the games for Ultimate Casino before they closed, not sure who else.
