ok here's my point of view. I'm better than all of them at poker. But I don't want to travel around making a theoretical $15/hr or w/e with the hopes of maybe running hot one donkament and having a real hourly of $500/hr. Then I see pokernews and nvg sucking their dicks so hard. Then when I do occasionally play donkaments for fun I see these people make huge fundamental mistakes and not only does pokernews suck their dicks they also suck each other's dicks. Since I'm not a donkament pro most of them don't know who I am so they don't talk to me and just talk to each other about their "sick spots" which generally most people who post in 50nl FR threads would actually realize are really easy spots. Once in awhile there's a 15bb spot where I don't know the exact push/fold range but when it comes to real poker where you have more than 30bb or w/e they're seriously on the level of like 10nl regs.
If you read HUNL at all you'd know I'm pretty constantly trolling there trying to get HU matches so I figured may as well branch out. I'm to the point where I rarely even get 400nl HU matches anymore. So when I see a thread talking about how someone might be good at poker and the only things I know is:
1. she played a hand god-awful and complained to Brikis (I think that's his name? Guy from Pitt) about how bad she runs when she played the hand absolutely retarded. So retarded in fact that I got a separate text about how retarded she played it after hearing her bitch to Brikis about it.
2. she hangs out with mtt pros, who are pretty notorious for being huge babies and bumhunters (if you don't understand how playing live mtt's is bumhunting just a huge lol you don't realize that it's pretty much the only form of poker left where you can make ok money and not actually have to deal with many good poker players?) who suck at poker.
3. I don't even care that much if I play someone better than me. I enjoy playing poker and I enjoy competition. But I know that no mtt pro has that big an edge on me and I'd actually be pretty shocked if any had any edge on me, let alone someone who would be part of the east coast live donkament crew. I've heard those guys talk about hands and it's pretty lol. Let's just say there's a reason they're playing live donkaments.
Anyway sorry if I come across as a huge dick I just hate donkament pros and think it's funny that the general public actually thinks they're good at poker.
