Doug obviously, unless you're being sarcastic and I'm just too much of a lurker to get your humor.
It's so ironic and perhaps even humorous that Alec Torelli would end going down the same road as Doug in the end (or attempting to). I assume he felt too distanced from the poker community after this whole angle incident to keep too within the poker community any further.
Not to say Doug necessarily did too much to add to the community response - Alec was the one who angled obviously. Its just so funny to see Alec try to do the same exact gig as the guy he blamed all the outrage on. Too bad for him that, especially with so little views as of now (133), that it's probably not going to take off much, if at all. All his "cred" is poker related and he's not even an okay content creator to begin with imho.|
Also funny to see his Wikipedia page now too. It could be better worded though like:
"Following the hand, Torelli stated that he used his opponent's surprise at the discovery of the high-value chips as a "read" to determine that his opponent's hand was mediocre. Later, Torelli posted a video on YouTube faulting his opponent for not knowing his chip stack size." I feel it should be added that he also faulted Doug Polk for the incident, as that's what he mostly did. The earlier Wikipedia edit battle history from earlier is hilarious if you look at that as well.
All this is so incredibly ironic when you consider he could've so so easily have resolved the situation in a better way. This could've blown over in a day or two if handled appropriately. All over a measly 10k to a "high stakes pro." Even in raw equity! His wiki would be way more impressive to potential players, backers, etc. at a glance. Still amazed he didn't budge. What a guy...
