It's all a sting and they're going to start seizing assets.

This is amazing news, I considered that money lost and stopped following this a long time ago. I totally would have missed out on this if it wasn't for my buddy getting a hardcopy notice in the mail about this.

Chiming in to say I received a notice in the mail. Yes, a small postcard in the U.S. snail mail. The notice stated they tried to email me but my email was no longer valid. Additionally, they mentioned the deadline to apply was September 7th. Contact info for CGC was provided.

FWIW, I had already applied manually about a month ago by emailing them and the notice was sent to the updated address I submitted at that time.

Agree 100%. I had deleted the email address associated with UB/AP accounts.

Has anyone had issues where they know they had $ on AP but don't have any screen shots or pics to prove it? I'm showing apparently $0.31 which I know isn't right but wondering how or whether there is access for them to see account history.

Are you sure you're logging into the correct account? I had a similar thing happened but I was logging into my UB account - When AB/UB merged I had to create a new account and that one had all my money in it.

I reached out again and they just told me they don't have any additional info. Still not sure why they extended - Would be nice to at least find that out. Was it to get more people to file?

I got a postcard on 2nd September. Sent email and they replied on the 6th lol.

I had no money in there, couldn't remember my SN and I deleted the email I used for the account. I know part of the claim says you needed a known account balance above 0.0 to make a claim but what about everyone they scammed lol

Most likely given they are reaching out by U.S. Mail. A lot of people change email addresses, physical address, forget their account info, etc. in the last 6 years. If I was an online poker rec player I would probably never file out of fear something would happen. Not filing would be irrational, of course.

Folding into keeping (the vast majority) of your money.

Did Preet getting canned mean there's no will on these cases anymore, or too little evidence/too long ago?

And the fact that they're allowing Scott Tom of all people to do such raises the questions asked above.

I was talking to someone else about this and he said maybe the GCC is only compensated if X number of people make claims (or they get some % of the claim money they pay out). If that's the case it makes sense as to why they won't tell us the reason for the delay.

I'm hoping it's just because the US gov't or GCC is actually doing the right thing and trying to get as many people their money back as possible but only time will tell.
