I think you lost your money fair and square... So no I don't think you should be paid.

The biggest issue I see is that if they start changing timelines for people based on circumstances then they will end up paying out more money than they should. Say they theoretically pay you your starting Black Friday balance, well say 50k for example. Now you end up losing that 50k to someone, they would have to tell the recipient of your money that they're **** out of luck for 50k of their balance or eat the cost and pay both of you. Seems like a reverse freeroll for them to not go by a set date for everyone. With that said I am rooting for you favaloro

I'm not aware of any success trying to sue to recover undisputed balances. Not sure who to sue six years later over a disputed one.

Also, a bankruptcy filing isn't the same thing as the site saying they can't pay player balances. For example, Caesars (well, a part of it) just emerged from bankruptcy and it didn't impact casino gamblers or online players.

Then you should make that argument with the ones handling the remission.

LOL, no, of course not. If you're really, really lucky, they'll see it your way. If they don't, you'd be wasting both your time and money to pursue this through a lawyer.

Should, as in they're obligated either legally or morally to pay the balance on that day? That's completely ridiculous for so many reasons, but I don't want to derail the thread even further with your silly situation.

its super kind and patient of you to take the time to reply to someone this delusional, but can we have this guy blocked from the thread so it is only filled with relevant info and questions and not one guy spamming the thread trying to find a way to justify why he should receive a bunch of money back he decided to blast off.

I wouldn't typically discuss moderation regarding an individual in an open reply, but he made a post asking a question and then simply replied to replies to that initial question.

One reason I made matter-of-fact replies with explanations of how the process works was so the thread could move on from this sidebar. After all, the initial question was valid (in terms of being a legit question...not necessarily on what's fair in terms of what's owed) but yes...the thread does not require a lengthy discussion on it.

Lol, this is beyond ridiculous..

I was able to log in. My balance was just shy of $11,000.

Filed for remission. We'll see. What a surprise. Good work you guys for even giving us a chance regardless of what happens from here.

Anyone able to resolve a similar situation as mine?

I had a Ultimate Bet account, I'm not sure what my email was registered at the time, but I have checked spam folder in the one I still have open from that time period. I also don't remember which address I had at the time since I had just moved then. (w/in the US)

I did confirm what I thought was my username, and double checked it precisely with sharkscope.

www.absolutepokerclaims.com did NOT recognize my info, so I did register, I did it twice, spelling my username small, and in caps lock, since I'm not sure if that makes a difference. (I don't remember having all caps, but sharkscope has it listed that way)

Also, pokertableratings.com didn't help, I guess its shut down now.

I did this today, so I guess I have to wait for email reply, but did calling the 855 907 3254 provide the info and help?

Yeah totally understand you have been huge help i this thread and I am sure everyone is very appreciative of it. I realize this is probably very tough to gauge and maybe you have no real idea at all, but if you had to ball park a guess when would you expect people to start receiving their refunds?

Thanks for the kind words.

We haven't received word from GCG on their timetable for remission, except that they believe it will be faster than the Full Tilt Poker remission process (they had to learn all about the poker industry on the fly during the FTP process and have the knowledge for UB/AP claims). I'll post when they provide estimates.

I am not Rich but you wanted a guess so I will entertain you. I feel the FT refunds took between 4-6 months for uncontested balances.

The AP/UB refunds will likely come by July 4th.

Remember that many of the large 4-6 fig balances are people who also got FT remissions so it is kinda seamless for people like us as the form and ach is almost "pre-filled". Everyone played stars and tilt. We did not trust absolute but the net rakeback was between 75-150% before and after superuser scandal. So anyone who was brave enough to play Cereus always at least had a "safe" full tilt or stars acct (which were not safe but safer)

I estimate over 50% of large balances are "duplicate" fraud victims of FT.

This estimate is based on nothing.

Was there an section of the claims form where ach information supposed to be filled?
I was in an rush to head out and filled the form quickly and did not notice. My bank
account that received the ftp remissions is closed , so i thought i make i sure its not somehow auto filled for me somewhere and i did not notice.

The site says it's to be there, but it is not yet. I imagine they'll get back to claimants for that info, as ACH deposits are in GCG's interest too.

Has anyone whose balance is off gotten a straight answer about what documents we could possibly upload to prove out cases? They aren't letting us log-in like they did with FTP so I can't access my history. Their email replies are thoughtless and probably form replies.
