I've always thought this is a good and bad thing. I've talked to a bunch of guys who are playing midstakes+ who say something similar that the podcasts motivate them to grind more.

I've been trying to get better at it over time, thanks

But of those mentioned, it'd def be sweet to hear from TC
Swedish end bosses, ofc I would love to have most of thse people on. Problem is I have no idea how to get in touch with any of these guys

They aren't actors or musicians or writers, they are akward (ish) poker players who mostly seem to be put at ease somewhat by Joey's monologues & not having to relentlessly answer questions. I'm not sure that was the intended effect, but regardless, Joey definitely seems to have a natural talent for interviewing & I hope he keeps pumping them out.

Also for those interested the 'Eat sleep plo' Hoodie is solid.
Ding ding ding I'm impressed someone was able to put this together

This was my intention from the beginning. I didn't want these to be interviews, I wanted them to be conversations (I never use the word interview if you might have noticed). In a conversation sometimes you interject something about yourself or what you have done. I think it helps to get people to open up to you and feel more comfortable talking about different things hearing your own personal stories of doing similar things. I think every podcast out there is doing interviews, I don't want it to be a let me ask you these 20 questions generic format.

+1 for TC
Otb RedBaron should be too interesting as **** and should have good spoken English since hes from Belgium.
Btw. again: I hate PLO, but I love your podcasts, think have listened to everyone (except with Lemon, I had to turn that off after 15 minutes, such a typical scumbag liveplayer who only lives off his ability to get in soft games, wouldnt be able to play 10NL online and doesnt even like the game "its all about the money blahblahisuck" why even have this people on the podcast? He wasnt even funny)

Great work <3<3

After the Limon episode, I had a terrible headache until Joey demonstrated what it's like to be a good human being.

Have TC and Klink on at the same time to hype up their grudge match which may or may not happen.. It would be awesome if you could set a up a pre bout trash talk session(boxing style) and then maybe rail some of their HU matches and then afterwards victory/defeat exit interviews.. saw some twitter big talk earlier today between the two of them(shocker).... hopefully something comes of it.

I enjoyed the limon and zephendrix podcasts. 1h 30m or less for length is very enjoyable. I just can't watch/listen to >1h 30m comfortably.

I believe i asked OTB a bit ago and he declined will have to try again in the future

I had no idea Limon was so disliked on here, I've always enjoyed hearing what he has to say as its pretty different from the norm most people say in poker.

My idea on the length has always been, listen to as much as you enjoy or have time for and then stop. I think this is a bad theory as when I see other podcasts that are as long as mine, I really won't even give them a chance. I'm sure many people out there are the same as me. I personally enjoy having longer conversations and I think most people who are regular viewers do as well so I will continue to keep the length long. I know it will sacrifice some new listeners in the future but I think sometimes it comes down to what you enjoy the most more than what might be the best for business.

I do have some ideas to attract those people who might be scared off by the long podcasts. I really should be doing some type of snippets/highlights type of thing and its honestly dumb that I am not doing it. I am mad at myself thinking about it right now.

I think the main problem for me with your theory is that you have pretty awesome guests on your podcast. I don't want to blindly pick and choose when to stop listening as I feel, because then I get worried I might miss some awesome moment or very helpful information which was the whole reason I'm listening to the podcast. I suppose people have slightly different reasons for listening to the podcast and that's fine. Maybe this podcast just isn't supposed to be directed towards me.

Every time I listen to the podcast it's because you have someone that is very interesting that has been highly successful in something, and I want to learn more about them and how their brain works and how they achieved their success.

I am all for a 30 minute snippet/highlight thing like you said. As long as you cut out the parts where you talk about pee bottles and **** bags with jungleman, I'm pretty sure I would enjoy it.

Please get an American flag tank top for the TC stream. Preferably with a few bald eagles on it.

You can add time stamps to Youtube, no?

i dont understand why you couldnt just listen to the longer podcasts in different segments. youtube and most podcast catchers save ur place if u need to come back and pick up where u left off.

I'm going to have to work with RIO and have them pay me money if I am going to try to make it 2 hours of non-stop things people can learn from and less of that type of stuff

Tip for getting thru the show quicker and also for any other podcasts or audio youtube vids: Download mp3 of youtube vid w/ http://www.listentoyoutube.com/ or similar service, then open in vlc player and speed up playback to somewhere between 1.3x and 2.2x, depending on how fast you can stand listening to people talk.

I haven't listened to limon ep yet but plan to soon. I've heard him on a few other poker podcasts and remember him being pretty good. Not afraid to speak his mind and seem to have good grasp about the midstakes live casino poker game climate.
