hey doug

done the 3hr13 of the lefort conversation (as always).

i had a q related to a theme that came up (and which you didnt really elaborate on after lefort brought up):

do you have any tips on playing in/thinking about m/way pots correctly?

fao joey

well then to follow up on another couple of discussion points:

i) how do you (joeingram1) approach a long, multi-tabling 6 max session? (in conjunction with lefort def implying he struggled, do you find them easy/not a grind in any way?)

ii) were you saying you were going to do that 10 part series about your up's and down's from years ago, years ago? because i think the info you are talking about is still pertinent. plo content in a new format (this is def something we havent seen across training sites and poker media to date) is always gratefully received by me. and even if not universally loved at the time of release, thats the benefit of the internet, there is no rush to find an audience for anything.

iii) how many tables of 6max plo do you play?

iv) with regard to the itunes podcasts, have you considered breaking down the long recordings into hands: all other discussion? (in effect 2 full-length podcasts instead of 1 epic hangout)

v) (last 1 for a good while, i promise) any advice for approaching plo deep? (again you asked lefort and didnt answer yourself)

Thought lefort's ep was the best yet, listened to all of it even despite the length

Bart Hanson's ep was solid too

This is not what the fans want. If you want training videos pay your $100/pm @ RIO like the rest of us.

Joey has stated before that he doesn't really like the idea of training videos and his series are a refreshing change of direction. I like them, and I believe 2p2ers like them cos we get some insight into the people behind the screen names we play etc and that makes the podcasts very entertaining.

Strategy podcasts are dry and boring. Personally i use podcasts to get some entertainment while working out.
Joeys podcasts are perfect as they are for my needs.

I thought it was a good podcast.

Lefort/you had a good dynamic.

Not playing poker anymore myself - I thought the poker talk, HHs , life stuff - poker community was well balanced.

Listen to the whole lot..I would give it a 7.5/10 with room for improvement.

I think that you should sort out a solution for your guest to be able to talk when the hand is shown on the screen - that is a little tech thing that you could work around perhaps.

+ I think when you sort of said 2+2 can be boring - I think you should have thought about that abit more before saying it. Most people are not looking at it for 8 hours straight the way you might. Clearly it is not designed to be used the way you use it + you might check out other sub forums more.

Im a huge fan of podcasts overall. I've listened to a lot of poker podcasts over the last few years and it's hard to find ones that are actually good. I really like these and think you're doing a great job. I don't even play PLO and I've listened to all of them lol. Keep up the good work Joey. Cheers.

yo yo ralph, good questions as always

I will talk a bit about 1/3 in the next podcast. I won't talk ever about 5

In regards to 2. The idea I have isn't something I had in the past but something I am working on right now. As you said and I said in the pod, nothing like what I have in mind is out there anywhere and I think it might be some new content that people would really enjoy. Its sort of a big project to undertake but I'm very excited to do it.

In regards to 4. I haven't considered doing that, I am not quite sure I want to do that but I do see some merit for considering it. I do think that some poeple probably just enjoy seeing the hands and not hearing anything from the guests but the guests so far have been awesome so I guess they are "forced" to listen to them.

I would really enjoy doing that type of challenge with people I sort of know already from the forums or from the tables. But if someone is a fun person who wants to do it then I will with anyone. Not looking to make it some big degen bet but I really love plo and love basketball so its a cool idea I had that I thought some people might take me up on. Send me a message on here or social media and we can get it setup during WSOP

As BigAisa said thats not the idea I really have in mind for my series. Of course the people watching would love to hear hsplo'ers get super in depth about strategy and poker but these are supposed to be a step away from that genre of video. I think there is more than enough content like that to be found on the different training sites and youtube.

I actually have no idea of anyone that knows Ravenswood but I would love to have him on some day. I think d2themfi is a very strong possibility as someone that might come on at some point, especially if we do our HUPLO/BBall challenge

Share the views of the last four posts. Lefort was great and I listened to the whole thing.

One of my favorite things is finally knowing how to pronounce screen names. I just assumed it was pronounced leaf-ert
