I'm pro pot, just making an obvious statement that cole wouldn't post something like this as he isn't an idiot and I'm sure he smokes a lot better **** than whatever's in that bag if he does smoke.

Well, if it's obvious why it's idiotic to post a picture like that then I guess I'm stupid. Could you please explain to me? If you read the thread you'd know why the herb is of such poor quality. He traveled abroad and that's what he could get his hands on in short notice.

I want to say that the amount of positive feedback since the thread has begun and as of late is amazing and incredibly appreciated. It is incredibly motivating to hear through 2p2/fb/twitter how much people enjoy listening and have some people share with me how it has helped motivate them/lift there spirits when going through something challenging poker/life in general related. I wasn't expecting some of it. I also have enjoyed some of the negative feedback that has come up along the way and think some of it has helped me to try to get better. I think I did a really good job of replying to every single message, post and tweet someone made good/bad for the first 8-9 months but these last few months it has been pretty overwhelming in a way and I haven't done as well at it as I had hoped. I imagined it would be easy to be in constant communication and always wondered why so many brands or people didn't do a better job of it but now It makes so much more sense lol. If i have taken a long time to reply to anyone out there about anything I didn't mean it from a big time/mean/can't be bothered type of place and hope that people aren't too upset about it. This was something from the beginning I really set out to do well in and going forward I will do better.

One of my biggest goals was to create something that people who have played poker professionally for years could enjoy and it really makes me happy when names I have seen around the community for a long time come in to say how much they enjoy a specific podcast or podcasts in general and when I see years old accounts with a small number of posts come in to share the same. I imagined if I was able to do something like this that a poker fan of almost any level would be able to find some type of entertainment/inspiration/motivation from the podcasts. Not to get to much into all of the ideas or goals I had initially/along the way but this is one of the them that makes me the happiest.
Very nice post Joe.

You have definitely put a ton of time and effort into this podcast and put out many excellent episodes w/ online pros that otherwise would not have a platform like this to have a place to talk about themselves to an audience of online poker enthusiasts.

Even already famous people like Lex and Ansky who have been on some other podcasts, when they go on for example the 2p2 pokercast it's usually just a 20-30 min interview w/ relatively generic and topical (ie they just won a tournament, and get asked about that tourney) qustions. Whereas your show gets a lot more in-depth w/ more of a natural and conversational vibe and a lot more "shots fired", similar to Rogan's podcast.

I've told you this before, but you've grown a lot as a podcaster since you started the show. It seems like you prepare more for the show, and have improved your interview technique significantly, and are getting better at realizing when to mostly just stay in the background and listen and let the guest talk when he's on a roll, and also realizing the right times to interrupt, get animated and joke around, or ask some provocative q's to keep an interview from getting stale.

I think you've also grown a lot as a person, too. There are definitely a lot of posts I've seen lately attacking you harshly that I thought you'd flip out at, but instead you just calmly defended yourself and laughed it off, something I can't imagine the old chicagojoey internet persona doing.

I and the rest of the 2p2 community are grateful for your work, so keep going strong w/ the shows homey

I'll try again: what makes the person that posted that picture an idiot? You can't possibly be dumb enough to think there are legal ramifications of doing so, can you?

One way to get me to listen more would be a sort of index of broad themes you talk about throughout a podcast. Eg I loved hearing about Leforts investment but don't really care for his fitness advice. Would be sweet if there was a description like min 1 - 15 girls, 16-30 tank top gto, 30 - 45 fitness, 45 -60 business or something like that. Might not be feasible in practice, idk.

Keep it up!
+1

Jason, is this the 85 foot cliff you jumped off? If so, you're either a mad man or the girl you were trying to impress was out-of-this-universe hot.
