I'll be out in Vegas for the next 6 weeks recording podcasts and other content for Instagram/YouTube while trying to win a PLO bracelet

Did a podcast with Leon yesterday from his GTO suite at the Rio

Love the words of caution to JB at 3:00.

"He will understand. He will change... "

Joey trying to press Leon about cheating accusations at the beginning that was insulting even though you didn't mean it to be but after you said it the 1st time and he brushed it aside you tried to bring it right back up like he didn't hear you lol

Im a fan of Leon. That was a good interview. Other than the weird fact that hes never been to a grocery store, he seems super cool and down to earth for a mega rich guy.

Going through an old ep:

Steve Mcloughlin and Adam Altwies

Top top episode. What are these 2 up to these days? Surely a follow up needed

hey joey

i was watching an old gtoclub ep:

wine & 6am thoughts.

i turned it off as thought it was worthless (possibly because of the wine) however fortunately i watched it again and there was some good thoughts.

i would return to the ep. you talked about your next book SHOULD be about your past relationship emotional experiences. imo this is much more interesting than what i am led to believe your next book is (how to schmooze women. though that could be v wrong).

any new public gtoclub material to be released soon?

Saw this on Joey's twitter and think its interesting topic and potentially very misunderstood bankrollmanagement logic, have no twitter so might aswell post here.

When you are a cashreg or something like that and don't depend on tournaments to make a living, and then you play only few mtts a year, assuming you are winning in the mtts, you can and should throw the general tournament bankroll requirements out of the window. Bankroll requirements exist so you are very unlikely to go broke and thus don't cut your EV in the future by not having the money to play poker.

If you are cashreg you don't need to have 300bi for the mtts you play because you are like never going to play enough mtts that you can go broke from them, so it's more about gambling small enough on the mtts so that the losses don't affect your EV in being able to play same stakes in cash and also play the few MTTs in the future.

So basically I think it's correct for cash regs to always have relatively big pieces of themselves in MTTs. And obv it's good justification for to GAMBOOOOOOOOOOL!

Doug has explained why you shouldn't take 100% if you don't have ~50-100 buy-ins for whatever event. He used jeans89 as an example in the video where HSDB was unlocked for his birthday. I believe he's also talked about this issue in the "How much money do poker pros really have" video as well as others.

I don't think he went super in depth in this video but mentioned for a second. As I said, it's been mentioned in other videos.
