LOL how the f*ck are hand gestures distracting...stop looking to see if Papi has a manicure. Hand gestures is what gives meaning and expression to speech. Non verbals are the heart and soul of effective conversation.

Yeah we're not talking about normal nonverbal communication, we're talking about exaggerated hand gestures up close in the camera - and joey has already said they're intentional. Try to keep up.

They aren't meant to intentionally distract. They are meant to give more meaning and expression to my speech and talk

Brian Townsend or KTcc please papi. I think more fresh blood will be good, fresh views and thoughts. Fedor and the likes are good but we know them pretty well now and familiarity breeds contempt.

I have not listened to the podcast for a long time, I must admit, but I enjoy it and think it's well-done. I plan to listen to the Perkins and Fedor podcasts soon, since they are always good guests with entertaining stories and insightful advice.

I would like to see BT/aba20/sbrugby on, legend of high stakes on FTP back in the day, and also taught me some really good advice re: practical real world issues like credit cards and investing on some of his other poker podcast interviews such as the 2p2 and Bart Hanson shows.

There's probably no such thing as autism and rather it is a created/learned condition, as with "illnesses" like "depression," "anxiety," "addiction," or "alcoholism". The true nature of humans is peaceful and graceful social interactions with one another. There probably is a cure involving retraining mental patterns and emotions in ways that don't ostracize/"scarlet letter" or overwhelm/confuse the "special needs" person.

Isn't is also possible that the autistic people are healthy and everyone else is ill to be so emotionally demanding all the time?

It's also possible that the term is just a huge bin for a whole range of unrelated behaviours that don't neatly classify into any of the other pigeon holes.

To you it may be exaggerated but to anyone it's normal/common use of body language and non verbals. I know Joey is into his self help/self improvement books and content and has obviously learned the importance and effectiveness of strong body language and how to use it to influence and enhance. Of course they're intentional, a purposeful man needs to have his intentions locked in. "Try to keep up"? Yeah how about you try to catch up, buddy.

Thanks Joey, I appreciate your explanation. I discovered your videos recently, enjoyed a few evenings watching them. Hopefully you don't mind hearing my honest feedback.

I think if the point of exaggerating the hand motions is to give meaning and expression, it might work better if you reposition the camera. That would avoid the distraction of having the hands moving in and out of the picture, and being larger than your head due to up-close focus.
