He's talking about BBVISBADFORME right?

Only about half way through the pod and have to stop and come back but Colman comes across really well. Relate to him and his way of thinking / playing / the whole losing and degen aspect a lot more than most people you have had on.

Will definitely be listening to the 2nd half over the weekend

Colman is one of the few "famous" people in the poker world that I would actually hang out with in an alternative universe where nobody knew who he was and he had never played poker before.

ahhh sick, missed it live but looking forward to watching it. was hoping to get some q's in and wanted to give a shoutout to DC, i think he was the first person i talked to after busting last year's wsopme day5. got off the plane back in boston waiting for luggage miserable and he was standing next to me. for prob just busting something himself and after a ****ty flight he was pretty cool despite what ppl seemed to say. almost highlight of trip besides meeting da gto papi himself.

Best one of these podcasts Ive seen, people talked a lot of **** about him on this forum but really theres 2 big criticisms one is the whole not promoting poker doing interviews at the one drop thing which is his choice and I wouldnt want to bother with all that either if I wasnt desperate for fame, and the multiaccounting he just straight up admits to as a stupid mistake when he was young no bull**** excuses so fair play

Quite interesting the stuff about isildur and being taken advantage of too I wonder what more there is to that story

The whole time they're talking trash to each other and then the Russian loses a big pot and starts literally tilting (the rocking chair back and forth) and the chair broke and he fell on his face.

Please ask Dan about this story Papi!

Ryan also said Coleman loves to gamble and might have 100% of himself in the SHR bowl but probably not. Please ask him if he has 100% of himself and for some gambling/degen stories. Big poker games, table games, prop bets, etc.

Good suggestion papi made for a great story on the pod

The fact they are okay with this is down right dis respectful to you and your podcast.

Im willing to bet Lefort doesnt flake. He is a great example of a decent human being that isnt deluded in his own reality like Sorel and Coleman (not comparing Dan to Sorel bc Sorel is a pos but they are both clearly deluded in their own realities).

Anyways, hope Coleman doesnt flake again but wont be surprised if he does.

Wonder what Rogan does about flakes?

Chinamaniac also mentioned that he is surprised more people don't cancel on me. I usually don't get many of them because the people that I do have on I tend to have a relationship with that extends beyond a one-off meeting with them/haven't really talked much with them before. I like to do that for a number of different reasons but I think an effect of that is people don't cancel on me. I think we have seen in the past that the people who cancel randomly or are impossible to setup something with are the ones I really don't have much of a relationship with. I think in some instances it could be seen as a lack of disrespect but I think at other times it is warranted. And in reality, it really isn't that big of a deal to me 9 times out of 10. With Dan, the original date we set was pending on a couple of different things and he immediately said lets do next week, then we scheduled the day/time. I can't really remember other people who canceled and didn't handle it in a very similar GTO manner.

Haha I was already planning to have Lefort on after his Colombian adventure. You get a feel for how certain people like to operate their lives or their schedule and that plays apart how/when you schedule them to come on. I put it at about less than 5% Sorel/Colman would both cancel to come on the podcast so that didn't really have much to do with getting Lefort on today. Getting a tiny bit into podcasting GTO, I would have preferred not to have Lefort the same day after Dan. There are some pros for doing it but also some cons for doing it that might be > than from a GTO POV. I also have a very long list of people I would love love to have on the podcast but I don't want to put out 5 podcasts/week because I think it takes away the opportunity of more people getting to know the lesser known guests. I think with 3/week the potential for having that happen is still there depending on some other variables but from some of the sims I've done so far, it doesn't seem that bad. I've tested a couple different approaches with it and I think if the guests is interesting and feedback is good, that people will give that episode a chance/watch longer. /tiny strat

i enjoy all of your podcasts a lot Joey but i seem to be the only one that didnt like the Coleman one too much. It seemed like you couldnīt have a casual talk with the guy and that both of you felt a it akward at times, but maybe thatīs just me. Keep up the great work Papi!

I really enjoyed the DC podcast. I have a lot of respect for the guy as a player and for someone who sticks by their values. Easy to say you don't compromise when dollars aren't being offered... much harder to do when they are.
