maybe if you dont like the content and the way its delivered, you shouldn't watch at all

you start off with a lie

you did take the time to write all this out, your opinion is yours, 1 and 2 probably aren't going to change. 3 is why would you watch if you didn't find the conversation engaging? 4 is basic dress code and make sure the other person knows how to set up light better without asinene convo?

I'm going to assume you are watching the first episodes of the PLOs. I think over time I've been able to do a better job of slowing way down when going over hands. I tried to do that over the first couple but I'm sure I could have went much slower and made it a bit more clear. I was focusing on people who already had familiarity with PLO but over time i wanted people who didn't understand PLO that much to be able to try to get what is going on.

The first 2 WCG was so long ago (he is going to be in chicago this week so I think EP 3 is finally coming) I would have to go back and listen to those two again to find the difference in #1 and #2. Dating and women is a more common theme I've been talking about more and I've had a couple women on that I talked about it with as well. I'm going to go back and try to see if I can figure out how the first and second were different in terms the subjects I was talking about with him. I think If i just talked poker on each episode I would end up hearing the same things over/over again and personally get pretty bored with it so I try to talk about more life outside poker as well.

Am going live in about an hour for a new HSPLO podcast with longtime 2p2er dankness3 if anyone is bored this afternoon/evening
Cool man,
I have noticed in EPs since you have made an effort to make the PLO hands more consumable. So yeah, complaint recanted. Have listened to Hastings and lefort ones since my last post, been awesome, keep it up pls.

1) I enjoyed it, but it could be better.

2) I watched it because I play poker.

3) How to make sure the lighting doesn't look like someone shoved a camera up there ass... I mean are you really unable to come up with a solution for this?

I think you don't really have the goal of creating a good podcast.

Why is it that Joey can stream podcasts/HH's/Live rail for free in HD.... Yet I pay $100/Mo at (debatably) one of the best training sites for crap "quality" videos?

Reverse Blockers.....There goes another 10BI's

Keep it up Joey!

good to hear i'm glad you posted still because it was a good reminder that I try to get better at it, i started doing a notepad of things I need to remember for each episode and put near the top to remember to slow down and try to go slower so audio only people can understand. If anyone is having some trouble still and might have a suggestion for a way that would help them to understand feel free to let me know

I like your usage of regular podcast phrases, reverse blockers is my new fave. Maybe a site should hire me to do content only for them (or nah)

your reaction to dankness's explanation of how he became a 5/10 was classic. I'm curious when exactly you started playing online and if you played bodog around 2005.It really is amazing how good games were back then.

I went from having no money (less than 1k to my name and no job) and having never played a hand of poker in my life to being a bodog 5/10 reg and 10/20 shot taker in less than 6 months. It's hard for younger players to really understand what things were like back then.

bodog was giving out 20 pct bottomless reload bonuses (later lowered to 10 pct) which i was happy to take advantage of in the form of funneling 95 pct of my net worth on to the site- I was finally cut off when i withdrew most of it to neteller and redeposited 8k via neteller (the max) The truth was they could have charged me a membership fee to play.

it was also nice when they had weekly free western union withdrawls 3k max.especially when you would get stuck behind someone refilling their boost mobile card for 30 bucks and all the cashier had was 20s and 10s.

And then I learned they had plo

Cliffs of this post: "I enjoy your podcast. Now here are a ton of reasons why you and your podcast are terrible." This post isn't constructive criticism, you're just being a jerk/hater

Also, Dankness episode was solid, he has a story of playing poker w/ Jungleman about 3/4 of the way thru the ep that is hilarious.

Direct link to part of vid w/ jman story

Video of Jungleman getting tilted while playing which demonstrates how spot-on Dankness's impression of jman is:

It's literally constructive criticism. If you're gonna get butt hurt about getting called out for bringing up stories you can't tell or doing a podcast in a wife beater, don't do a podcast in a wife beater. What exactly is the argument against me, the guy isn't breaking 1k views on most of his podcasts, probably he's doing more things wrong than right. I watched three podcasts, and based on two of them, those are the last three I'll ever watch. I'm nobody special, you don't have to please me, but he can either figure out what to change to become successful, or he can keep doing the same thing and gettng the same results. Clearly he's intelligent, maybe he is just too easily satisfied.
