joey- had you interacted with SRP via skype prior to today, or has your friendship all been text based? surely if you had skyped previously you should've known that this would not have gone well. i felt a little bad for him tbh because i know what its like to be introverted irl and sortof 'in your face' online. its possible he thought he would come across rougher around the edges or he simply didnt realize that the disparity between his online persona and his real self would cause people to poke some fun at him.

if he is a close friend of yours, i do feel you through him under the bus a bit. or you were both just having a goof and i'm too slow to realize it.

just listened to the "poker life" podcasts with bart hanson and jamie kerstetter, both very interesting. good job

I talked about your question on the 2nd stream with gf and regprobs. He isn't introverted at all but his personality is not quite the same as it is on twitter. He said he was going to bring the passion and fire that makes him who he is but clearly that just wasn't happening today.

I thought when it was getting close to the end that some might have got the impression you did but I kept trying to bring up something to elicit excitement and finally just gave up and we both embraced what it was

Thanks a bunch guys. I'm glad that some people out there are enjoying them. There a bit different than my PLO pods in terms of the vibe I think but the feedback seems pretty good so far. Planning to put out more episodes of that series with a variety of different guests in the coming months. I want to try to get people on that come from all different aspects of the poker world. Outside of the obvious bilzerian, if anyone has someone they would really like me potentially get on let me know!

The failure of the SRP podcast just shows how much of a boss Lefort is. He dropped some serious knowledge. Its going to be hard to top that. =)

Love the plo podcasts Joey but please no more Lefort he makes me question my sexuality.

loving the podcasts as well as someone who doesnt really play plo, really entertaining. A+

seems pretty weak to have the one that doesn't go so well as being private tho imo. every episode of joe rogan experience, bill burr, every other podcast etc. is up for all to see whether it goes perfectly smooth or not.

could it really have been that bad? even if it was, will end up being something to look back on and have a giggle later on, doesn't seem like that big of a deal.

You need to have respect for your guests. If they don't want it uploaded you have to accept that or lose integrity and reputation for every one after it. not to mention if it just sucked for whatever reason it lowers the podcast quality especially since its in the early stages.

Don't try and guilt him into doing it just to be selfish.

Too bad he didn't have that pation on the stream. Easy to be a tough guy on the internets but when the camera is rolling the real SRP came out.

So who's the next interesting guest going to be? Could it be Phil Gandalf? Maybe broke living JRB? Maybe an online player? The possibilities are endless make it happen Joey these are great.

Always liked SRP, but comon maaannn don't be so fragile over some failed podcast. Censorship is bad... not cool SRP.... not cool.
