What is Annie Duke doing within this group? Shouldn't it be Hellmuth instead?

WTF? So the general public decides who gets to play. Doesn't get better than this.

Annie Duke won the event, so her and matusow get a walk. Its nice to see the WSOP giving back money to the players, FINALLY.

Re: 2010 WSOP Tournament of Champions

Duke, Sexton and Matusow have won previous Tournament of Champions, which is why they're guaranteed a spot. I assume the two wildcard spots are for people who should have gotten in, but the public screwed up.

Edit: The two other guaranteed spots appear to be done with some sort of contest.

Of the 20 I voted for, only Phil Ivey and Annette Obrestad are in the top 50 vote getters.

And I pretty much expected that as I was filling out my votes.

Re: 2010 WSOP Tournament of Champions

Is Russ Hamilton a former bracelet winner? Maybe we could all vote for him then turn up with rotting fruit on the day.

Anyone worked out how to vote yet? It seems that it will be within the WSOP client thats a skin of 888 Poker, but can Americans do that (if thats the way)?

Quite an incentive to cheat the online voting process

Re: 2010 WSOP Tournament of Champions

Russ Hamilton is on the list of eligible bracelet winners.

You have to register first (you can only vote once per email address).

The top 50 list is displayed randomly.

More likely being held back for players without bracelets but other high accomplishments IMO.
