Been there, can't account for one of the 9s based on one hand... rough situation to be in. check the floor, maybe dealer dropped it.

A more interesting situation and a much harder ruling would have been if somebody had folded the other ace of spades preflop (instead of having it at showdown) and then made the dealer go through the rest of the deck upon seeing a duplicate ace of spades. If in that picture ace high flush beat a jack high flush for example, and the player with the jack-high flush asked for a floor ruling to give him the money back due to an improper/potentially rigged deck, what would you do?

All-in player turns over the nuts, guy with headphones says "nice hand" and dealer said "he has you covered", to which guy with headphones said "I just called the $100".

Funny thing is, all-in announcement was very loud as was dealer repeating the all-in, guy who called pushing 1-stack forward has also used this trick the day before too. Both times floor was called and ruled since he didn't hear due to headphones he was only liable for the $100 not the announced $2K+ all-in...

lol....
Seriously? How do these floor people get hired? **** that, if he doesn't hear due to his own idiocy he deserves to lose all his money.

Play hand as if you had AcAs. Either win without showdown, and then afterwards say the deck needs to be checked, or go to showdown and have your all your bets back. Its a win/win.

Oh but seriously, if you have AsAs in your hand and make it to showdown, your hand is dead and you forefit the pot. Just as if you try this angle with just 1 card.

I cant remember exactly how the hand played out, but the "fish on the button" somehow did get to showdown, never showed his hand, but did get back all the money he put in the pot.

Most places would declare a misdeal and return all bets AFAIK.

i think when the wsop happens, these dealers get over worked like slave labor, so mistakes do happen, i bet if u do some research on the dude dealing he was probably so tired he didn't even know. I thought when theres a new deck dont check each card and stuff?
