So I realized recently that it's pretty easy to replace the avatar images in the FTP folders. I know, lol avatars. But it occurred to me that it might be fun to create some new ones out of my favorite 2+2 memes and photoshops. About an hour later I now have these as my first four avatar options...
It's made grinding a lot more enjoyable since I at least get a giggle when I lose a pot to the Frenchman.
The problem is, there are a ****ton of FTP avatars to replace. So I'm calling on the 2+2 community to help me pick out the best of the best. If you have 'shopping skills feel free to create your own, but I'll also take recommendations of classic 2+2 threads. My hope is to eventually replace them all, then compile them into a single zip file for anyone else who wants them.
Expressions: Making new pics for all of the different expressions is more work than I want to do, so instead I'm going to pick 3 all-purpose pictures for every avatar to use. I haven't decided on one for "happy", but here are the other two I've chosen...
Info for Photoshoppers: The avatars can be found in your FTP folder under Graphics>Table>Avatars>Public. You can use one of the existing avatars as a sizing template, but switch over to RGB and 16 bit mode so that you get the full color glory of your picture. I'd also recommend using filter>sharpen (or even "sharpen more") when you're done. That gave me the best results. Then save as a PNG file with a transparent background and voila.
