this is going to be my last post on this subject, but he can both have a gambling problem and be a scumbag, it's not an either/or. there's really no sense in calling someone like this a scumbag, because they need help, not to be castigated - that's the kind of 'thinking' - feelings of worthlessness, depression, etc. - that leads someone to lose 120k at a sportsbook over a 2 month period (how is that even possible?)

so yeah, he is a dirtbag. but he's also a problem gambler, which is going to lead him to being a scumbag, and not the other way around. and the smarter people in this thread have been making it clear that this goes on much more often than people think.

all in all a terrible day for this forum and obviously for admo. I wish you all the success in recovering your money but fellas.. CF was your hero one week ago and now he's being torn down like that statue of saddam hussein. if the guy has a genuine desire to pay it back combined with a very serious gambling disease than people should back off. the loss of his reputation must be devastating to a man who spends his days trying to win the respect of you guys in NVG.
