My view is that this is a dumb policy. It might (or might not) be a matter of ettiquette not to post a PM without permission, but a sender doesn't (or shouldn't) have a reasonable expectation of privacy in communications he sends to another person and should be aware that the person he is sending them to may choose not to keep them strictly private. So it shouldn't rise above an ettiquette matter to a prohibition as a matter of policy.

Although I can't find the policy MicroBob refers to written anywhere (which is surely due to my searching deficiencies, rather than there not actually being such a policy) I would suspect there is nothing in there that would prohibit Admo from forwarding all of Cornell's PM's to anybody who asked him for copies. If so, the rule against posting PM's would be doubly silly.

So nothing on why he's apparently decided to position himself for a second career in a freakshow?

I played poker with her at the Bike. Tophler Grace must be about 5'4" because she towers over him on that show, but didn't seem that tall at all IRL. She was blonde too and absolutely stunning. Also the sideburns dude was there, but he was at the higher stakes table and I never saw him walking around.

I think you might have me mixed up with someone else. Unless we met out hiking in the desert, because that's pretty much the only time I wear a hat. I have a rather large head, so it's tough to find hats that fit, and when they do they just make my head look gargantuan.

FWIW, even though Steve might be thinking that this whole thing is blowing over as this thread loses steam, Admo's web development skills combined with his zeal should trouble him. If Admo simply develops the story and posts it at www.stevenwareisathief.com, which presently contains pictures of the kid, ostensibly keeping it there as long as Steve isn't paying...em, well, that's really not going to bode well for him down the line.
